Help with ps3 3d?!

When i load black ops on ps3 my tv tells me to turn 3d on so i do but then the screen just goes black and nothing happens??!

^^^ That was my problem.

I had to reroute my HDMI through my TV and send my audio to my receiver to fix it.

When the 3D is off, everythign is fine, then when you turn it on, the screen will go black.
 
Make sure you have a newer profile wire. Some 1.2 and older 1.3 profiles don't have enough data bandwidth to support even normal 2D sound and video. I imagine these wouldn't do dick with 3D on.
