can someone tell me how to hook my xbox 360 to my pc? i can run an ethernet cable from my router to my xbox and do i need to download media center and where i can find that download, thank you in advance
 
You really cant just download media center, but you do need windows media connect. When you go to connect the 360 to your pc (im guessing xp sp2) it will give you a link to go to and download this setup.
I cant get mine hooked up, and I tried everything.
 
Yep, Windows Media Connect.....works great with mine. Basically, you start WMC on your PC, it SHOULD fine your 360 if it's on. Pick folders to share, and that's it. Although, you can ONLY share MUSIC....no Videos unless you have a Media Center PC.
 
well i'm an idiot my xbox doesn't detect my pc, it shows up on my network and media connect but my xbox doesn't find my pc
