How can i record videos off a website? Any type of vcr program?

Can someone tell me how I can record videos from a website? You cant save the movie but you can stream them from the website. Most play on windows media player, is there any program that will allow me to record them like a vcr? So i can watch them without having to stream them or so i can show them to friends without broadband....

Oh man, I know for sure there are programs that do that I just can't remember the name right now. Heck, I saw it on The Screen Savers (back when it was kinda of still good). For now try googling for it, but I let ya know if I find something.

Looking around I found a program called Streambox. I haven't tried, but you might want to.
