How to I make a poll after a thread's started?

I'd like to start listing several of the highly recommended animes on another thread I've started ( http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=167414 ), but I don't seem able to. I'd like to develop this into a user-contributed system to allow feedback from people who've seen the animes to people who have no freakin clue. I realize there may be better sites for this feature, but I was introduced to anime through gaming, and as such, have no clue where to look for more information. I've gotten some links from posts on the forum, and would also like to tally this all together with the poll.
