[FONT=arial, helvetica, courier, *]DreamWorks appears to be making a trio of its recent CG-animated titles available on Blu-ray 3D format as retailer-exclusives. Starting in early September, look for BD3D versions How to Train Your Dragon, Megamind and Monsters vs. Aliens at your local Best Buy. All three have been previously available only to those who purchased Samsung 3D hardware.

Exact release date is forthcoming - I imagine the price however will be the standard $39.99 with the sale price being around $29.99 during the first week. Not sure if the Exclusivity will last about a month or so like Narnia 3 (Exclusive to BB till the 30th) or if it will stay exclusive for longer.

The Best Buy release date has yet to be made clear. It was apparently originally reported as being September 13th and then seems to have been moved to the 20th... I guess we'll find out soon enough!
 
I'm already seeing the prices on these dropping like a rock on ebay.
Megamind going rate now it about $35. I guess the word is out.
