How to value a test shot figure?

Hey guys.. I've recently come into possession of a test shot action figure and am trying to figure out a value for it for insurance purposes. Given as these are extremely rare I can't use ebay as a guide as no others have popped up. Is there any way to value it at this point?

edit: The production figure is valued at about 35.00 if that helps.

Unless it's a popular character from a popular series of toys, nobody cares

You'll most likely have to take it to an appraiser. Many of them charge money, but you can often find some who will do it for free, perhaps even through e-mail. I'd just take a look around Google for "free toy appraisal" or some such.
