It may be a futile, doomed effort, but they aren't killing and totally orphaning the Touchpad. Yeah, it's going to be limited, but it's ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS! A 9.7" tablet with Gorilla Glass screen for a C-note. Hell, I'm gonna get one just cuz! There's a Kindle app, so BAM!!! $100 eReader!

It wasn't an earthquake, it was the result of Barnes and Noble loading all of its Touchpad orders onto one big truck all at once.

I tried to order the case for IN STORE pickup, and they charge full price. I have no need for the dock. My kids would probably knock it over or something.
 
I thought that huge stack of Touchpads fell over from that ebay seller/hoarder pictured earlier...but the magnitude would have been much higher.

How are you guys seeing this. For me it says in store pickup unavailable and sold out online. Doesn't give me the option to search nearby stores.

Got this from SD. It works for some but it didn't work for me. When to check my order status on HP Home and lone behold! My order had a tracking number! But it was recycled, thus why I didn't see it with the info below. So keep that in mind if you try looking up by your order number.

PEOPLE WITH HP ORDERS:

Their online tracker sucks. If they have 3 or less is shows as "out of stock" as well.

I just grabbed one off amazon. 32gb for $219. It's only @$50 more than the one I ordered from best buy after tax and shipping. I'm too burnt out on this to care about the $50. at this point.

That said, I do have a friend at work checking a best buy for me on his way home. If they have the 16gb (which is what she actually wanted) he's going to get it for me and I will sell him the 32.

That's a great price for the keyboard. They also have the touchstone for $40. I don't know how much i'd use the keyboard but i'd love to get a touchstone for cheap. I bought 2 when I got my original palm pre and use them daily. Very cool piece of tech.

I know, I get the same thing. However my aunt just walked out of BB with two.
 
Well my office depot order says "In the Warehouse" now and there is a link that says "View carton details and proof of delivery" but when I click on that I don't get much info except it is marked shipped. It still says it will be delivered tomorrow so I am hopeful.

That's my old local store when I used to lived at my parents' house!
 
So how does OnSale not know yet if they have one for my order? It is not hard to count the number in inventory and check them off as you add them to the orders. When you run out you either cancel the orders or send a message saying it is back-ordered.
