It may be a futile, doomed effort, but they aren't killing and totally orphaning the Touchpad. Yeah, it's going to be limited, but it's ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS! A 9.7" tablet with Gorilla Glass screen for a C-note. Hell, I'm gonna get one just cuz! There's a Kindle app, so BAM!!! $100 eReader!

i got Demon's Souls from a guy on cl because he said it was too hard. He sold it to me 3 days after release for $30 with gamestop receipt for $60+tax in the case. I then went to amazon and got deluxe edition and then returned the sealed game at gamestop. woot that was a win.

Yeah, I've been using a metal stand with rubber coating and a neoprene 'envelope' style case from FiveBelow on my gTablet and now the Touchpad. They've also got a decent stylus for $3, for those looking to do a little digital art on their tablets.

What time did you get confirmation email from amazon that order had been received?
 
FYI if your orders seem like they're in limbo, you might want to contact you CC if you used one, especially if you have placed multiple orders.

I've placed 3 orders on my CC and the one was a Charging Stone at OD,
Office depot called me to say there was an issue with my order, so I called my MC and found out they had put a hold on the account due to the activity and assumed it was Fraud/theft. I had to verbally approve all my purchases made since Friday..

the best responses that cracked me up the most were one from this guy asking for the Arizona Powerball numbers for the lottery and another asking "Mason. What do all these numbers mean?"

There was so many numbers of BB stores and people were even quoting each other to check the store numbers.
I should have given fake inventory but i realized i was going to crush somebody's hopes

doesn't look like they have time stamps on their orders, just days, confirmation email should be fairly close to the order time.

I decided to check the SD thread earlier and when I checked it and saw a bunch of people throwing some type of BB numbers I immediately left. If I would've known it was a joke I would have stayed and read it.
 
Ordered a 32GB on Saturday morning around 9:30am in-store at a P.C. Richards & Sons. Originally tried to order a 16GB, but salesman said the chances of getting one is slim; however, if I ordered a 32GB it would be ready to pick up on Tuesday. Well it is Tuesday and I went in today to get it and lady working at customer service tells me she doesn't know when my order will ever come in and if it will come in at all... Well they better refund me my money if it never arrives...

Anyone having a similar problem?

I never received a confirmation email from Amazon. I received nothing from them. I have never had that happen before from Amazon. Here is a pic I just took. I blacked out most of the number because I don't know what they mean. haha

Just grabbed the last HP Touchstone from Office Depot (Newark, DE). They supposedly have 1 keyboard left (I wanted it) but the couldn't find it. They do have 2 HP Touchpad cases left. They did pricematch from their website.

This is OT but I feel the need to share it. I got some of that Yoplait Key Lime Pie flavored yogurt - it's pretty nasty. First of all, the yogurt is LIME GREEN. Key Lime Pie is yellow! It tastes bizarre, like a creamy lemon-lime popsicle in yogurt form...

I read on SD, from what i can remember, Insight ran out around 7am the next day. So if you ordered before that you should be good. At least if you ordered a 32gig version.

But really, if you were on Insight you should of just ordered a 32gig. There were 5,000 in stock vs the 300 for the 16gigs.

Then after the earthquake happened i replied with a post saying "fuckin earthquake eadawda" and then i reload and i get a quote saying "wow an earthquake? can you please now check my store"

Somehow noticed on the SD page that one of my local BB stores had some stock of 32G units. I called and they confirmed. Booked it up there with 2 kids in tow (had other things to do). Pulled up and saw a ton of people walking out with TPs so my heart sank. Got in and was only a small line. The person in front of me managed to get the last 16G model, but there was still about 15 of the 32G models left. Used a bunch of saved up rewards and it only cost me about $10 out of pocket. Performing updates now. So have faith that there are still some out there...
