Humble Bundle Thread

Of course.

During the summer sale I decided that Hunnie Pop was never going to see a bundle so I may as well grab it and see what the fuss was about.

Figures.

lmao... I remember when we made fun of IG and Groupees for stooping this low, but I guess Humble had to go where the money is and the money is with the pervs.

Huniepop is definitely worth the cost.

I thought it was a genuinely fun game, I actually enjoyed the voice acting and humor, and the soundtrack is pretty damn catchy (which comes with the game apparently if you get the BTA tier).

To be fair Huniepop has some excellent reviews and from what I've played seems to actually have some really good gameplay to go with its, er, aesthetic qualities.

Not sure about the Sakura games, though.

I don't know what's more disappointing, the Sakura bundle or Marooners being a bta unlock for the Jumbo bundle.. and I thought the Inversus leak (which ended up not happening) was bad.

Well then.

*sighs*

*unzips wallet*

Edit: Incidentally I have one tab at $5.15 ($5.16) BTA, if anyone wants to lose their dignity and buy it at that price. Edit: Never mind... the window closed >_<

Another vote for HuniePop being a legitimately fun game.  It managed to mingle being subversive with actual entertaining game play which is a real novelty compared to junk like "Feminazi".  Unfortunately, HunieCam failed to catch lightning in a bottle twice.  Which I guess is why it's bottom tier despite being the newer game.

I've never touched a Sakura game and have no opinion there.

What? A whole bunch of lonely neckbeards gave Candy Crush Saga a positive review? I wonder why?

This one doesn't have anything fucky going with not being able to increase payment later, does it?

No. I only did the BTA tier and when it asks about increasing the payment amount it tells me how much more I need to spend to get the $10 tier.

Also all of the games are individual Steam keys.

Isn't this the most disappointing thing in the bundle?

Note from the Developer: The sexual themes in this game are mostly for fun/humor and don't make for particularly great fapping material.

I can't quite believe I actually read that.

It's meant to be humorous in a meta sort of way.

Apparently the joke went way over my head.
I don't think it's really a joke though.

Huniepop does feature some explicit images (especially with the uncensored patch), whereas Huniecam Studio's handful of images are more cartoony and not really explicit. I think they just included that so people who bought Huniepop for the nudes would know that Huniecam Studio wasn't the same type of game.

At least that's what I'm assuming. I don't really know if they ever came straight out and said that, just seems like it makes the most sense to me.

Are people serious about playing that Match 3-anime porn game? I was embarrassed just watching the trailer.
Yes. The match 3 mechanics are good and the dialogue is pretty funny. It's legitimately a decent game.

All of these Sakura games are pure trash though, they're IG quality at best.

Oh get over yourself.

Yeah it's silly as fuck, but that's part of the charm. And the actual match 3 game is genuinely fun to play. Plus it mixes in other little gameplay bits like the dating sim aspect, which ties into upgrading traits and getting presents which help complete the match 3 games quicker and more efficiently. Plus, like I said before, I actually thought it was a genuinely funny game and it's got a catchy soundtrack.

lol interesting bundle.

Kinda wish I picked up the Transformers / GIJoe comic bundle now.

Left a tab open on my other computer and forgot about it

Nah, just being there as a disclaimer is part of the humor. I haven't played Huniecam, but a major part of Huniepop was throwing shade at, well, games that look like Huniepop. (Though, much like Blazing Saddles as a Western, its as much a member of the genre as it is a farce of the genre.)
