Wholeheartedly agree. If only there were multiplayer I would be blowing up NinjaSquirrel's spaceship constantly :boxing: :bouncy: (jk)
No joke, that sounds about right :joystick: :fridge:

I attempted to fire it up on:

Core2Duo 2.2

4GB RAM

GMA4500HD - Super Mario 64GB dedicated

That chip is clearly more effective as a snack than a graphics solution but, after max optimo, I still couldn't run it.

Careful now.
Something is wrong with your PC then because I ran it on a laptop with almost the exact same specs except it was a single core with 2GB RAM....

Has it been confirmed that you have to BTA BEFORE the bonuses are revealed to be eligible for week 2 benefits, or is there just lots of stupidity afoot?

Please keep me abreast.

Firstly, it ain't mine. Secondly, stop sayin' shit where bad people can hear you. Tertiarily:

Graphics:1280x720 minimum resolution, OpenGL 2.0 Support, and recommended dedicated graphics card with 128 MB of RAM
Hard Drive:175 MB HD space
Some integrated Intel HD graphics cards have been known to work but are not officially supported.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to BTA after the bonuses. It's not as if after the bonuses are added Humble is just going to say "screw it, you didn't buy in the first week, no bonuses for you!"

I'm just saying it worked for me on lesser hardware since others who might not meet the requirements might like to know. It's a very scalable game that works on just about anything, and I think the requirements are a bit misleading.

Uhh... how do I save?  I need to quit.  Like now.

In FTL.

EDIT:  Nevermind.  ESC.

The one button I for some reason did not push.

Please keep a breast for me.
Fixed your post ;)

Every Humble Bundle I've bought for $1 during week 1 has scored me all the bonuses.

hehe I said scored.

Obviously you can still BTA after the bonuses are announced they just cut out being able to get them for $1 prior to them unlocking.  Like they weren't making enough money.

I think it autosaves whenever you quit. I know I was able to pick up one of my first games several weeks/months after starting it and don't remember ever manually saving.
You can't manually save at any point (to disallow you to reload saves after dying). It only saves when you quite the game via ESC (if you just close the window it wont save)

Hey. hold on now. you are stealing my intellectual property. there can't be two immature man children in one thread. put em up :boxing:

Wicked tats.

Sooooo, what's the story?
Your kid daughter stocked up on chalk but ran out of sidewalk?

Call me ignorant, but what exactly are you trying to say here? it seems like some kind of insult, but I am unsure what it's supposed to mean...

are you referencing the poor quality of my tattoos?

I am so lost, I don't blame you, my brain just doesn't always make obvious connections... I try to over think things a lot.

They changed it this time so only those who BTA get the bonuses, regardless of whether they are revealed or not.
damn it, all I don't have is Fez, maybe wait and see what the bonuses are this time.

We're discussing your faded, pastel tats that were seemingly scrawled on your wrists by someone who still staggers to the bathroom in their footie pajamas during the daytime.

Okay, well in fact the story behind them is mildly interesting. your suggested story is closer to the truth than you realize.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, a young man was really wanting some tattoos, of something, of anything, but did not have the money to pay for said tattoos. It just turns out that a friend of his was moving back to his state of residence who just so happens to be an artist that was in between tattoo shops since he was moving. There was many moons of drama at his old shop which actually lead it to being shut down and raided by police. The friend who moved back was the whistle blower so he was free to leave.

The first problem arose long before it had any affect, it turns out that his equipment and inks were all contaminated and sabotaged because these co workers discovered the deceit that was about to befall them. The hero of our story ordered new ink and it arrived at his family's house the same day he made the move. At this point he and I were only aware of the inks being damaged. He drives several days from his old home to new home, and asks for help unpacking, we spend the rest of the day and a few hours of the night unpacking.

My payment, as requested by me, was a set of small tattoos of whatever I could think of on the spot. These tattoos would then be done free hand and while the artist was tired and not necessarily sober. (the long list of mistakes and bad judgements made by me in my desperation for tattoos is not lost by me). I told him I want mario mushrooms tattooed onto my wrists. He suggested waiting until he and I weren't so tired and otherwise affected, I demanded he proceed with the tribal markings of our people.

A flashback in our story to remind people that we are still very unaware of the sabotage on the tattoo gun, which becomes quite the painful surprise shortly....

He opens his new ink puts on gloves and proceeds to begin to tattoo the mushrooms free hand from memory... the gun stops with the needle inside my skin.... didn't feel very good.... He looks at his gun confused and it begins to work again.... After a few more stops he takes a break to examine his gun more closely... It is missing a very important screw that keeps the wiring in place it is only working because the wiring just happens to be sitting in a spot that completes the circuit.

as the outlines are nearly done, I demand he make it work and just finish them, I wasn't going to be some ass hat with half finished tattoos. Because it keeps stopping inside my skin and he has to keep adjusting to get it back on and because he couldn't draw a straight line to save his life that night, it took nearly 3 hours to get them done, by then there had been a significant amount of poking, prodding and bleeding in that small area and it actually led to significant scarring especially on the outlines, much thicker and deeper than any scarring on any of my other tattoos.

So three hours later I am a bleeding inky mess, but I got my damn tattoos I had wanted so badly for no reason.

Moral of the story, you really can wait for that thing you want. I promise it will be okay.

PS: Purple and green are already really difficult colors to get to stick, plus after a few years with no touch ups in a very exposed area they are quite faded and dull. we also even used white ink in the caps, but my pale skin is almost actually whiter.

also I apologize for the off topic uninteresting story, but I did feel I should explain them. Do not think for a second that the way they look is lost by me.

That's a compelling tale.

I wish more CAGs would lighten up and refrain from fearing a virtual slap on the (tattooed) wrist.

Shit would be poppin' in here... for a message board dedicated to literally saving pennies.

Edit: I realized I look literally to mean literally... not the possible slang term, e.g., "my mind is literally exploding".

He he he. It's funny because you took the word literally even more literally than anyone could have literally expected.

Literally.

I'm actually more curious to see if they keep up with the $5.80 fixed BTA than seeing what the actual deal is. I was surprised that they didn't keep up that fixed BTA trend with HiB9.

I didn't expect that. :/

  • Serious Sam HD The First Encounter
  • Serious Sam HD The Second Encounter
  • Shadow Warrior Classic Redux
  • Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition
  • Hard Reset Extended Edition
  • System Shock 2

Kind of sick of seeing Serious Sam games in bundles, and I already own Hard Reset and System Shock 2. It looks like they've locked the "average" to $6, so unless that changes it looks like I won't be disappointed in my purchase of SS2 during the Christmas sale.

Please Note: These games are only available via Steam
Boooo!

Don't know about the Serious Sam games, but everything else in there has DRM-Free versions available. Why don't we get them?

Oh and note to taylort3: Your avatar is gonna haunt my dreams. lol

I feel so cheap for not even wanting to give $1 for this bundle, but I own everything except Shadow Warrior and Duke Nukem, which I know I won't ever really play.

I'm actually more curious to see if they keep up with the $5.80 fixed BTA than seeing what the actual deal is. I was surprised that they didn't keep up that fixed BTA trend with HiB9.
Fixed $6 "BTA"

Defend that!
My bet is that the fixed second-tier pricing will become a fixture of the weeklies but will not be adopted for the periodic sales. I'm not happy about it but I'm not surprised either.

I just picked up a GOG copy of System Shock 2 (partially for the soundtrack and other goodies). I don't really have a compelling need to have that game on Steam, so that was $2.50 well-spent. I already have Hard Reset and the Sam games from earlier bundles (does someone not have the Sam games at this point? didn't humble do a Serious Sam/Croteam bundle?!) but $1 for Duke Megaton and Shadow Warrior is a solid deal.
