It's not THAT bad. I still remember starting it right after finishing my Gothic 1, 2 and 3 "marathon" and it was the worst. Thing. EVER!

Time passed by and I was in the mood for an rpg, but nothing too time consuming since it's hard for me to find time to finish long games... blah blah blah, yadda yadda... I found it fun after not playing any rpg's for a while.
It's just that there's a lot of good RPG's out there, and considering how long they tend to be you're better off spending your time playing a really good one.

I already have Supreme Commander, and couldn't care less about Red Faction.

The second tier rewards are nice.  Kinda want Painkiller and Arcania, but not really $6 want.

So I guess I'm in for a dollar for Neighbors from Hell.

No, it is THAT bad. And I'm not talking about as a Gothic game (which it really isn't since it's not by PB) I mean as a game. After about six hours I couldn't take it anymore. Utterly bland character development. Awful combat. Linear world/progression. Repeated heads/characters. Generic MMO quests. Dialogue so bad it looks like it was written by a high school dropout. And a story so uninteresting it was probably written in a day.

Literally one of the worst games I've played. I feel embarrassed for anyone involved in its creation.

Ok, I'll give you that one.

I felt the same way at first, but after going through a dryspell of not playing RPGs, being a huge Gothic fan AND a completionist (I just had to play through the entire Gothic series), I eventually liked it enough to play through it, finish it and play the expansion.

Come ooooon, give it another chance *pokes*

Thats how i felt.

If you like gothic/Risen style RPG's, you will enjoy it. If you dont, then you wont.

Makes sense...I have gothic 1-3, I still need to play those. I've never heard anybody stick up for Arcania, though, haha.

No, it's bad and you should feel bad for liking it. You're a BAD person!

Lolwut? I loved the proper Gothic games and Risen (all developed by Piranha Bytes) and detested Arcania. It's an insult to those games.

Yeah, I went onto metacritic to gauge some opinions on there and something I actually saw a lot of people say in the user score section was "It would be an okay game on it's own, but I gave it a low rating because it's terrible for a Gothic game."

upvoted ;) want me some steam keys

If anyone is playing Darksiders 2, I just finished the game and all the DLC.

IMO, the DLC isn't really worth it: it was barely even worth playing, so don't feel you have to get any of it or worry about what is "best".  The Crucible is really good: they should have made THAT a DLC, or made something as creative as that.  The game also has unique weapons, but there are only two worth using (Achidna's Fangs and Aftermath, otherwise possessed weapons are far better).

BTW, if anyone starts playing and gets possessed weapon(s), PM me here and I can boost it up for you.  Plus you get an achievement for doing a trade, so you'll get two things out of it!  I have about 8.5 million gold, so it's not like it's costing me anything.

I'm going to probably uninstall it in a while (a few weeks I guess), so try letting me know sooner rather than later.

I was interested in playing this, but got hit with the sound bug where the only thing you hear is environmental background sounds. They never got around to patching it before they died.

$1+

  • R.A.W. Realms of Ancient War

  • Confrontation
$6+

Is Wargame worth the extra cash? I don't care for point and clicks, so Sherlock doesn't count for the BTA.

I feel bad for not really caring to give more than $1 to all of these Humble bundles, but the chance that I'll ever actually get around to them is pretty slim.

So....any word on if the BTA key gives you the non BTA stuff as well when redeemed? Some people seemed to think that the registry entry indicated that it would.

Definitely in at $1 for Game of Thrones. Been waiting for a decent sale on that game after the kick in the nads that was Genesis. No real desire for either of the BTA games tbh, just glad GoT was in the basic bundle.

I don't understand their math: right now there are about 10,000 bundles sold for around $30,000 total. How does the average work out to over $6?

I think they would have been better served having one more title at the BTA level. I'm hesitating to BTA even though I would like both Wargame ('cause it runs on Linooks) and Sherlock (since I like P&C adventures)...

Does anybody know if Game of Thrones includes the DLC? There is no version for sale on Steam without the DLC, so I'd think it would, just not sure.

Humble stopped using an actual average a while ago. Sucks tbh. They've done an overall average (average of all Humble Bundles) or just straight up prices, which is what this seems to be.

If you want both games, buy it at 6 bucks. If you were to hold out for a sale, you're not likely to see either of these titles hit 2.50 individually anytime soon, if ever, which is the price you'd have to buy them at to get a better deal.

Does anybody know if Game of Thrones includes the DLC? There is no version for sale on Steam without the DLC, so I'd think it would, just not sure.
If it's listed as the "Special Edition" it includes all DLC. I couldn't tell you because a) I can't redeem keys at work and b) I already bought the SE for $7.50 about a month ago.

At work as well, or I'd just redeem and check :) I'll be buying either way, was just curious if anybody had redeemed and could let me know

My BTA key unlocked the BTA games only.

They changed it a couple days ago in the database. Prior to that, all the buck games were attached to the BTA key as well.

Humble has continued to use a BTA for all of the Humble Bundles while switching to a fixed-tier at $6 (was $5.80 supposedly based on "historical average" for two sales) for the weekly sales. I previously speculated that some publisher specific Humble Bundles would go with the fixed-tier, but seeing this bundle done as a weekly makes me suspect that Humble intends for fixed-tier to be only an option for the weeklies.

Is this going to be the same as lately where if I drop $1 I WILL NOT get the bonus games after they are announced?
If you drop $1 you will not get any bonus games. If you drop $6 you will not get any bonus games. No weekly sale has yet had bonus games and I don't see that changing.

Bahaha thank you all for pointing out my stupid oversight  :dunce:

I am sitting here at work and just saw this pup up and didn't acknowledge the fact that it was just a weekly
