I just got back from a video store close to my house that is getting rid of all their PS1 games. I called the manager and asked if he would mind selling a few to me, and he said it wouldn't be a problem. So I stopped by to take a look at what they had. I ended up leaving with 12 games. They were $5.50 apiece. And now, to list what I picked up. All games have the original packaging and most have instructions, although some are missing front box art. Again, these were $5.50 apiece....

Grand Total of $70.46. *disbelief* Previously, I'd picked up Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and R-Type Delta from them for $6 apiece. Are these amazing deals, or is it just me?

I am going to be busy for a while.

By the way, I don't want to reveal which video store I got these games at, because the guy was really nice to even let me take a look at what they had, as he was packing them all up to be shipped away. Sorry... I just couldn't resist bragging about this...

Sadly, Thousand Arms and Valkyrie Profile were the two games without front cover art (I put the instruction manuals on top for those games in the big pic). I realized after I left that I forgot to grab the cover art for VP even though they had it, but I thought I had troubled him enough. I'm not planning on reselling it anyway.

Edit: If the pics don't work, please leave a message and I'll move them to another host. It's complaining about bandwidth issues already, and it's only been a few minutes...

Edit 2: There, whew, I set up an Imageshack account. Should all be fine now.
 
Well, shows you what happens when a store is swamped PS1 games that people just dump off(those games have to be the most traded in/sold ever).
 
Too bad they have those barcode stickers on the CD's. Otherwise, nice haul. A lot of those are really good games!

That is an awesome deal. The Persona 2 find is what really makes me jealous, since I've had craptacular luck finding that one in the wild.

Haha, seriously, I don't know why everyone's giving you such a hard time in your thread... Direct insults being thrown around over a video game trade... How ridiculous... But it's been a good week for the both of us, either way.
