I found some stock certificates from 1960's

I don't know where to post this so if this isn't the right forum I am sorry please move.

I was just curious if anyone knows how to find out how much old stock certificates are worth, if anything at all. Any help in this matter would be appreciated. I had an uncle who passed 10 years ago and I was looking through a box of his at my moms house and I found some certificates bought back in the late 60's. I asked her about them and she said she didn't know if they were worth anything or how to go about finding out either. Thanks in advance for any and all info, Dubz

A lot of stocks are generally not doing well right now...Maybe you should wait before you cash them out. We are after all in the beginning of a recession (or we may be in one right now)

Yeah and think of the stock market from the 60s and what percent of those companies are still around. I'd give it a one in five chance of it even still being a publicly traded stock.
