I need Help Remembering the name of an old arcade game.

Hi, as the title of this thread says, I need help remembering the name of an arcade game.

Things I remember about it:
It had 2D graphics
It used a hammer peripheral
I remember there was a level where you defend a tied up dog from bugs
I remember another level included ninjas in a glass factory

Any and all help will be appreciated.

That's not it. The game I was talking about was basically video whack a mole.

Was it a ticket redemption machine? Did you hit the screen with the peripheral, or actual mole-style targets? I've got a local pinball arcade near my house with plenty of these kinds of games, maybe I'll get lucky and spot this one for ya...

It was not a ticket redemption machine and yes, you hit the screen with the peripheral.
