i want a wifi usb adapter for my specific setup

i want a usb wifi adapter so i can use wifi with my ds, and future psp and laptop

i have a WIRED router in use to 3 different computers, but my computer is not the main computer (where the router is). In fact, my computer is on the totally opposite corner of the house. i was hoping there is a usb wifi adapter that i can use in my room, that is cheap, and won't interfere with the wired router

does anybody have any suggestions?
are usb wifi adapters the way to go? are they simple? another alternative

I thought Nintendo came out with one for DS. I'm not sure if it can be used for other devices.

Works with the PSP and DS. Just get a CAT6 cable for your laptop.
