I'm thinking it's only for allowing you to use your PS2 controller on your 360, but I'm not sure if the wording seems to indicate that it'll let you use your 360 controller on your PS2 (or PS3 if you have a PS2->PS3 adapter). . .

just looking at the picture it is impossible for it to use a 360 controller on a ps2 unless the ps2 takes usb controller inputs
