I've seen 13 IMAX "originals" (not to be confused with upconverted hollywood movies) so far, and hopefully a 14th (Super Speedway, which I missed on its first run) tomorrow:

Well, maybe from a dome theatre or sitting in the first row, but I've never done either one...

Super Speedway was pretty good. Loud as heck, but I was expecting as much.

I swear movie theaters need to remove the first dozen rows in an imax screen. Never ever sit that close to the screen, espically if its a 3d imax movie (Green Hornet).

A large source of income for them is school groups. I've seen near, if not complete sell-outs because of them.

Those seats aren't going anywhere.
