Incomplete games/discs for sale?

Bought a copy of Battlefield 1942 that only had Disc 1 by accident today. I have Disc 1 and the CD Key, so I'm halfway there...

Is there any webstore that sells random game discs/incomplete games?

Something like that would be great for making complete games out of partials, whether you have a missing disc, or a disc that got damaged irreparably.

Well in this case you can legally torrent the game and then put in your cd-key. Torrents can be used in nice legal ways also

if it's not against the rules, what is a decent, non-scamming torrent site?

If someone could post here, or PM me, that would be great.

How far does the legality stretch? Can you torrent something that you just have a cd key for as well?

thepiratebay is a major torrent site (read the comments) or others like demonoid require a password

In some cases, if you have only the CD-key, you can actually download the entire program directly from the company's website. Examples: Diablo II (Blizzard), and pretty much any game that can be registered on Steam.
