Where were you? The only place that has a number at any given time is right on the circle because some groups pass out meals in the evening.

by the state house, by the circle center mall, by that big monument in the middle and at several areas in between. from 10 am or so till 3pm ish

Yeah, its either a food line or office workers taking lunch at that hour. Depending on the office the groups look similar ;-)

Either we're conditioned to the crowd here or you saw something we don't see that often. Though to be fair I do see a few around the circle, but nothing too drastic. They may be easier to pick out here since it's not as crowded, especially after lunch hours.

i dont know could be perspective as well. beggars, homeless and those thats you dont really know wether they are or not I lumped together.

like in chicago I know they are there and could find them if I searched but by the museums, miricle mile, navy pier etc... i have never seen any that I recall. Same with Columbus Ohio. I see more in Fort wayne but then again I have lived there 10 years and been to most areas of that town...

Bleh no worries... just an observation I guess.

I was just at the Meijer on Maysville Rd. here in Fort Wayne and I saw some xbox 360 stuff on clearance. The one thing that really stood out was several of the red limited edition 360 controllers. These controllers were priced at $32, which is half off. I didn't pick one up since I only need one controller and prefer black. Just thought I'd give you guys the heads up before it gets posted on the main deals thread.

Cool thanks for the heads up. I believe Toys'R'Us had this in their ad last week for the same price, so maybe it just the current 360 accessory thats getting marked down. Now maybe for some Microsoft points.... :p
Anyone go to that Weber Grill place right next to the Circle Center Mall? It sounds like a good place to get carbon monoxide poisoning.
Weber Grill is a nice place. Go there in the winter and you can sit by the fireplace and keep warm. They don't grill the stuff near where you eat...and there's plenty of ventilation wherever they are grilling. It's a bit pricey though. I like their grilled meatloaf.

Circle Center arcade is smaller than it used to be. Best deal is on Tuesdays where you can get an unlimited game card and play all the games you want for the whole afternoon. Not sure if they still do that...used to cost $10.

Most of the Go Kart tracks around here have coupons you can track down for buy 1 get 1. Search Google and grab those free coupon books you see by the candy machines at places like Wal-Mart or in the boxes downtown. I've got one of those $15 entertainment.com coupon books for Indy, and I think it has some in there, as well as a lot of good dining coupons. The book paid for itself as soon as I bought it as I used a Monical's pizza coupon for Buy 1 Get 1 Free pizza...and their large pizzas run around $20. Awesome pizza, just expensive.
I prefer Jack's for my local pizza. Also a little pricey but very good.
?

Jacks pizza is typically 2-3 dollars at kroger. You have found a cheaper pizza of that quality?

=P

The main forums mentioned YMMV 6.99 used 360 games with no covers. I just visited the location in Westfield next to Krogers on 31. They had quite a bit left but this is what I remember

Bully
Bioshock
Frontlines
GTA4
Condemned 2
lots of older sports games

Also there was a lot of PS2 games and I think for $2.99 each.

I called local stores around 96th and Meridian and Westfield seemed to be the only store to receive these.

Any Wii stuff there? It's a long drive for me but might stop by if I'm in the area. Most of the GR/BB stores I checked when this deal came around the first time only got the PS2/360 stuff, no Wii, although I do remember seeing some of the crappier Wii titles at 1 or 2 stores (hard to remember now, as I hit up just about every BB/GR in the greater Indy area over the course of a month when I'm out garage saling).

Okay, I stopped at three Blockbusters tonight.

Castleton - Used to be one of my favorite stores for games...pretty much everything is gone now. None of the disc-only 360/PS2 games.

Speedway - Had about 50 PS2 games for $2.99 each...nothing great...no RPGs or anything like that. Mostly sports, wrestling, racing, movie games.

Avon - Been one of my favorite stores for used games for years...they sent everything back to corporate. Barely and used games. This store had hundreds of used games just a few weeks ago. They had maybe 3 360 games and 3 PS2 games in stock at the $2.99/$6.99 price. I saw Guitar Hero II, III disc-only for the 360...don't remember the other games, except for some Arc the Lad game for PS2.

If I make it to any other stores, I'll post my findings.

I wonder whats going on with Blockbuster. I went to my local one and noticed that they had changed the layout of the 360 and Wii racks for some reason. I also noticed that they're selection was a lot less, but when I checked the used games, everything looked the same as the last time I was in there, hmm.

Edit: Nevermind I read the Blockbuster thread so I'm sure the explains a little bit of it.

My local BB/GR rearranged for something like the fourth time this calendar year. I wish they'd make up their minds, though I guess it keeps the employees busy.

The "Independence Drive" BB/GR (31 and Worthsville) has a couple buckets of the disc-only stuff. The 360 stuff was mostly underwhelming, though they had plenty of $6.99 copies of Bioshock, Call of Duty 3, and Guitar Hero 3. Two Worlds was just about the only other title that wasn't a sports game.

For $2.99 PS2 stuff, notable titles included Kingdom Hearts II, and Guitar Hero II and III. Nothing else caught my eye (mostly movie games and sports games).

I stopped in at like 4 Blockbuster stores over the weekend on the south side of Indy/Greenwood. 2 of them had no disc-only games. The store by the mall on 31 had a bunch of PS2/360 games. The stores with none said they still may get some in...might check back later.

I went to that store Saturday looking for 360 games and all they had were really picked over PS2 games. I'll probably stop in and check it out tomorrow. Thanks for the update.

Just got back from the Wal-Mart near the Glendale Mall on Keystone. They had a clearance area near the electronics. One thing that I noticed was $15 pack that contained a 2000 point Wii card and a cover for a classic controller. Just wanted to let you all know if anyone is interested.

Nice. Those were like $6-7 at the Wal-Mart in Noblesville at Christmas...someone here posted about it and a few of us got them at that price. I may bite for $15 if I'm in the area...although I have Gamestop credit that I should probably spend instead of cash on stuff like that.

I am 99% sure that's the store I found all the games at. I grabbed Halo 3, God of War II, Gears of War, Madden 09 (360), Grand Theft Auto IV (360), and some other stuff. They still had a couple copies of GTA IV for the 360, and I think there was another copy of Gears of War also, as well as a ton of other 360/PS2 games...a whole big table of stuff over in the other half of the store. I almost walked out without seeing it, as they also had clearance games mixed in in the normal game aisles, so I thought that was all they had at first.

I went there when they opened and they still had the really picked over PS2 games on an end cap on one of the racks. So I asked the guy if he had anything other than PS2 and they said that the PS2 is the only thing they have received so far, and they maybe receiving more in the next few days. Thanks anyways though!! That's not a bad haul you had there, haha!! :p

I have a set of rockband drums for the ps3 I'm wanting to get rid of. I got them from a garage sale, but I didn't really need them or have space for them. It's just the drums. The pedal was broken when I got it. Tested what I could since I don't have a game. The playstation buttons work, but I wasn't able to test the drums. I'm asking you guys since I don't want to try shipping it and no one seems interested on craigslist.

I've got the whole bundle, factory sealed and haven't been able to get anyone to bite on Craigslist. Might just keep it in the basement and try again at Christmas when people start spending money left and right.

If anyone sees NFS Undercover dip to around $20 at Target clearances for the Indy area, please post. I checked a few places that had a whole bunch of them at $34.98 and they disappeared quick. Thanks.
I haven't see any Steve, but I'll keep any eye out.
That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I saw a stack of them (more than 20) at the Southport Target, but they dwindled down to 2 copies even though it was still tagged at $34.98.

It's alright man, I trust you and appreciate your help. :)

I went to the Greenwood Target today, and I think I went around Monday or so and they had probably 40 or so games, and today they were completely gone. All the had game was was 4 Scene It: BOS for $31.xx and 2 of the High School Musical game with the dance mat (didn't look at the price lmao) both for 360. I was hoping to hop on some of them but I guess not now... I'll keep a look out for it though.

On a side note, I've been looking for this for a long time but never thought of posting it here. But if anyone runs across the Zelda: Collectors Edition that was made on Game Cube, could you please PM me or post on here the price. I'm working on collecting every Zelda game in the series and I'm only a few away. There's a few easy ones I can get a hold of, but the 2 hardest ones I'm looking for is Collectors Edition and the Philips CD-i game Zelda's Adventure (which I doubt I'll ever see). But if anyone can help, it's much appreciated.

This is the one I'm looking for: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Zelda_Collector%27s_Edition

No to be flippant, but what is wrong with eBay for those two items? At this point I think only McVans purchases (some Gamestops still sell) Gamecube games.

Goozex might be your best bet for Zelda Collector's Edition. I know my mother in law has a copy but she won't even let me borrow much less sell it for her.

people in fort wayne who go to delmar video... ever wonder why you dont see any newer games being sold in the store anymore.... ANswer is they sell all of their stuff on amazon now... I saw a nice pile of around 50 games and though Man love to get some of those for 9 to 15 bucks each.> worker said they now sell 99% off all of their used games VIA amazon

was looking at wild arms 5 (thought could get for 8 or so since it was scratched to hell when i rented it) had sticker on it Send to amazon sell price 29.99 LOL good one

have no clue how to look up seller via amazon to see what they have though

Slightly OT: if any of you work at Castleton Square FYE, what was the deal with that guy in there about an hour ago? Sounded like this guy was trying to berate the employees into some higher trade on his CDs. It was really hard to keep a straight face while I was getting rung up because the guy was so over the top but I really felt for whoever was trying to deal with this guy and stay professional. Actually, it sounded like he was about five minutes away from being escorted out of the store by mall security. Hope he's not a regular.

If I can, I'd like to get it in a store or where I can see the game and condition personally, but I'm pretty sure online will be the way I have to go, just throwing it out there if any of you see it. :)

Gamestop on US 31 had the Collector's Edition. It's the one across the street from the mall.

Southern IN resident looking to trade HL2, HL2:EP1, Counter-Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, Day of Defeat: Source, Unreal Tournament 3, Crysis Warhead and a few more games for a WARHAMMER TIME CARD ONLY. Will trade for a 30(the Walmart ones, $15) or a 60 day card. I would prefer to complete the transaction over the phone but will use other methods if I feel secure. It would also be nice if I could get an email pic of the card/code too but won't be required. Fifteen bucks for all those games isn't a bad deal. It just involves the legwork of getting the card. Think about it and have a nice day.

hey there indy cags. I went to the Target in Westfield last night. On clearance they had Prince of Persia (360) and Afro Samuri (360) for $15. They also had Fear 2 (360) for $35. They also had some Wii games, but nothing noteworthy.

Sweet i have a meeting in Indy tomorrow so have to check if they still have Afro Samurai.

Anyways you might get lucky on Craigslist for zelda's collectors edition. I have gotten two from it one with a Gamecube and 12 games with it for 50 and I got it for 20 dollars with a sports game they refused to split up but still worth it. Sadly I sold 1 of them and keeping the other. Usually when its people who don't have a clue what they have.
