Interesting WalMart Finds: YMMV

CAGiversary!
Well - the Mega Walmart in Morris,Illinois has the mega bin of 14.88 titles. New titles are thrown in to the mix periodically.

Here was the most interesting find today: Blood Will Tell (14.88) - cheaper than any online retailer , and the game seems a bit rare I guess

And the other one was Headhunter Redemption (they have the PS2&Xbox versions). Not that big of a deal there.

Blood Will Tell price-dropped to $19.99 a few months back at EB, and pretty much disappeared from retail at that point.

Good deal if you can find it at $14.99.

Yup, I saw a bin of $14.99 games in my WM as well. A lot of the games were similar to the list of those on clearance at CC (see other thread). There was a mix of GC, XB and PS2 games.

Ex. Looney Toons back in action for GC was $14.99

But I was in a hurry and didn't really scan the bin very closely.

I've never, ever, ever seen any game deals at my Wal-Mart. Ever. No bins, no reductions, nothing.

But if there's a chance of getting Blood Will Tell for $14.99, I'm going regardless. Doesn't hurt to look.

So when you think of Goldeneye:RA you think of shit?

Why do other states have video game bins... -.-;; I know the Walmarts over here just have those $5 and $1 DVD bins, never games. But nice find OP.

The new super Wal-Mart up the road has there video game clearance bin in toilet paper aisle.....

The funny part is you think i'm joking.

Mine in Semmes had a batch of 12.50 titles, and recent things like Phantom Dust, GGX (XB), Demon Stone, and lots of others... but all WalMart deals are YMMV, no other WalMart around me had these

Check around the area near the electronics departments. All the walmarts in my area have bins of video games right next to the registers in the electronics section. The only big one I noticed was that they had Sonic Mega Collection & Super Mario Sunshine for $14.88, but you can usually get those at CC when they do their "Buy 2 for $30 deal".

Someone on FW claims that he's seen Zelda 4 Swords w/ GBA cable for $25. Haven't seen that myself, but I've seen Final Fantasy:CC w/ GBA cable for $19 and $25.

Its a great game to boot!

I picked it up when it dropped to $19.99 @ Gamestop a while back and I couldn't stop playing it until I found every hidden body part and beat the real final boss.

HIGHLY recommended!!!

I am not too far from Morris... I wonder if they have any interesting games in the bin?

The Walmart I went to yesterday (in The Colony, TX) had a $10 bin full of games and a $5 bin not so full of games. In the $5 bin were mostly GBA games like Pac Man Collection, Frogger, Texas Hold 'Em and I think there was a Casino game too. I recall seeing a PS2 Jampack also.

The $10 bin had a whole lot of stuff. For all 3 platforms there were a ton of Return of the King and Two Towers. For Xbox I saw Godzilla Destroy all Monsters, Armed & Dangerous, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell 1, NFS: Hot Pursuit 2, Terminator 3(not sure which one), Test Drive Off Road, Simpsons Road Rage, The Sims, Mission Impossible and CSI. For PS2 I saw several copies of Front Mission 4. And for GCN I saw I-Ninja, SSX 3, Bomberman (Jetters I think), The Sims, and a bunch of copies of Star Wars Rogue Squad 3.

There were also some GBA games in the $10 bin, but they were mostly some Beyblade or DragonBall Z games that I wasn't interested in, so I'm not sure exactly what they were. They also had 3 copies of Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1.

Around here it sure as hell didn't. If I had the time (and the balls) I could literally erect a fort inside of my local EBgames from the copies they still have left.

Well, Ill warn you that the majority of it is crap. Either Budget titles or Old platinum/gamers hits titles. I always look so stupid, digging through that god forsaken bin. But I guess thats just the life of a CAG

Awesome, I have been waiting for a good price on SSX3! I'll try to go by today.

Checked the Melbourne, FL store this afternoon... No PS2, XBX, or GC games. The GBA games were on the bottom shelf off in a corner by the phones but they all scanned 9.99 to $19.99. Same titles listed earlier... nothing different.
I could score an extra Blood Will Tell if anybody's in need of it. PM if interested.
I'd be willing to trade for it, if you see anything in my list you like.
