iOS GPS app recommendations

CAGiversary!
I am taking a trip to the west coast in a month. Will be driving quite a bit. I would like to avoid taking my Garmin with me. With that said, can anyone give any recommendations on what GPS app they use for their iOS device?

I currently have a 3GS.

You should buy the North American Navigon, there's a west coast one for $25 but I think you're better off buying the NA Navigon. I tried the tomtom but it doesn't let you know when to turn soon enough (often miss turns) But the Navigon has a map and shows you in advance when your gonna turn.

It's really annoying for apple to advertise iphone having a GPS....they do but it's just basically like mapquest or your maps app and does not talk etc.
 
Mapquest or Waze.

I think Mapquest is a little better, but Waze leverages other Waze users to give you real-time traffic alerts.
 
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check out navigon and waze. If anyone else has any other recommendations, keep 'em coming.
