iPod Touch 32gb

Was looking to get one of these for my daughter for her bday, any advice on where/when (before Nov 15 pref) to get an ipod touch? It's on the 5th generation atm, is there one out due soon? If so, does the price of the older models drop? Does black friday usually have sales on ipod touches?
