iPod Video vs. iPod Classic Screen

I'm replacing the screen on an iPod Video (5g) that i got from a friend. I looked it up, and the iPod Video and Classic screens are identical resolutions. If a screen is priced as a Classic screen, could it thus also be used to fix the Video? I can't seem to find a replacement Video screen as easily as I can Classic screens.

Classic displays will ONLY work in a Classic, the connections are different on the Video. Get the Video display for $25 from iFixit.
