Is Datel's WiFi MAX psp or ps3 good?

I need to come up with a cheap PSN solution so i can play SC4 online, and yes i've tried d-link and linksys, but my computer is obsolete shit. I can't use wires cause my PS3 is too far away and i don't want anymore cables on my floor. I'm considering buying a Wifi max device, but um getting mixed reviews
so again, is it a good item or not? If its crappy please explain why it sucks.
 
I bought the PSP wifi max a while ago and only used it once cause I got a wireless router afterwards.
It's a good alternative if you want a wireless connection.
If you can't get a wireless router then go ahead and get this, you can wirelessly transfer files from your computer to your PSP with it too (with the PSP version).
