Is it possible to connect to Live w/ a patch cable from a laptop and wifi connection?

Just curious as I'm over at a friends apartment. He currently doesn't broadband access, but some friends of his leave theirs open for him. Just curious about that

That shows how to do it with a plain jane ethernet cable though. I'm talking about a patch/crossover cable though

That what I was wondering about. Even though it says that a patch cable isn't required for he 360, it should still work. I may just try it out afterwhile
