is there any way i can trade my regular gba in for a sp?

From EB's site: will almost get you a GBA SP, crappy deal if you ask me, but it's the only one I know of now.

Probably not, if a price drop comes it will most likely be when the gba mini is released. If you've got about 40-50 you can always post a request in the trading forum and see what offers you get.
