They do occasionally on Black Friday. I remember Toys R Us last year had a deal where you got a fifty dollar gift card for buying an Ipod Touch. They went really fast though.
The best place to buy them is Amazon. I got my 32G for about 250 (Original price was 300). And you get free shipping if you are an Amazon Prime member. Amazon gets my vote.
