One of my friends is offering me a Gamecube (model # DOL-001), one official controller, 2 memory cards (251 and 59), and Smash Bros Melee for $50 altogether. The cube itself definitely shows some wear on the outside but he assures me he hasn't had any problems with it. Just wanted to check with my fellow CAG'ers if it this is an alright deal. Thanks.

Smash Bros. Melee is about $30 by itself, and is definitely a good game. If you have the extra cash lying around, and want a gamecube to play some great games, I say go for it. Especially if it doesn't work, you can go and yell at the friend, rather than have to go through ebay or paypal, etc.

Yeah, it seems like a decent deal, but you should make sure it works before paying him, if you want some gc games check my trade list.
