What GH controller do you have? If you have the wired X-Plorer controller from the 360 version of GHII, you can plug it straight into a USB port in your PC (this same controller is bundled with the PC versions of GH3 and GHAerosmith, so those will work, too). If you have a PS2 GH controller, you'll need a PS2-to-USB adapter.

In either case, you'll need to use Joy2Key, to make the guitar controller inputs register as keyboard presses.

Just got done doing a round of this. It's actually fun, if they'd quit messing with it every day. They made it so you couldn't get more then 1.5k ladder points per song, which kinda sucks. I'm ranked 5th overall, so I can't complain much.
