Jane Jensons Grey Matter - $19.99 at Amazon

Jenna Jameson's Pink Matters
edit - i just did a google image search...wow, she got old. i guess we all age, but porn stars don't do it well...sorry for the reference...

Thanks, I just ordered one. I had been wanting to get this and was hoping it would drop a little before I was ready to play it. I like jane jenson's stuff so I would have paid full for it anyway.
They can keep it. Came out late, no Xbox 360 version, censored cover art... bleah.
What was the point of posting that other than to make some snide remark before running off? Suffering from lack of self esteem and big ego syndrome?

It came out when it was done. They dont owe you a certain time frame for when it comes out. Its also a smaller release from a small company in germany, so they dont exactly have the power and money of say EA to release stuff worldwide at the same time. Besides why does it matter if it "came out late"? You can still play the game. Or are you pouting you didnt get your little game when you wanted it? You poor baby.

Who cares if its not on the xbox? The game is a point and click adventure style game that doesnt exactly lend itself to a console. Not to mention a pc release costs less. If more people in america werent so snobbish about games like this it might have gotten a 360 release in america, so dont blame them, blame american gamers. Considering no one had been showing any interest in this in america because they are to busy talking about call of duty, the 3ds, bitching about dragon age 2 and so on its a wonder they released it all in the US.

Censored cover art? So? I personally buy games to play them, not stare at the box. And all they did was cover up some cleavage which is just as well since the game isnt about boobs. Sounds like a weak attempt at finding a excuse to cry about something.

If you dont want the game then dont buy it, but dont make an ass of yourself to the OP sharing a deal. If all anyone ever did on here was make jack assesy remarks all the time no one would post any deals because they got tired of the stupid remarks. Just because you can act like a horses ass doesnt mean you have to.

I've been holding out on the PC version because I wanted to pick up the Xbox 360 version. Does anyone know if it is official that the Xbox 360 version was canned for US release? If so, I'll probably just end up ordering the PC version from Amazon then.

No one has announced anything about publishing the 360 version for North America.
(a bunch of crap)
Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning... or something. :applause:

It was out in Europe months before they squeezed out this pathetic US release. It was done and has been done. They even region locked the 360 versions even though they have no plans to release them anywhere else. Gee, that's fair. Oh, and censorship blows no matter how minor it is.

You're the one making an ass out of yourself by white knighting this two-bit publisher and their late, watered-down release of this game.

Right, and you really didn't have to take all that time and effort to address his post, but you did. It's called a choice and both of you made poor use of this privilege.

Well, thank you for agreeing with me. :whistle2:s

It's on Impulse but not Steam? boo...

Man, I loved the heck out of the first Gabriel Knight game as a kid; the nostalgia is almost crippling. I'll have to give this one a look.

HAHAHA, I thought I was the only one.

None of which matter once the game's installed.

For anybody who was curious about the UK vs. US cover art (linked from Amazon's sites):

I have to Photoshop images this way for our PR department all the time. It's not a surprise.

Even though it is "Games for Windows", it is not "Games for Windows LIVE" so it does not have the achievements like the 360 version does. So that matters.

Plus, I don't like supporting censorship, so that matters to me too.

Well, we're lucky to have people like your boss (or whoever orders crap like that) to protect our fragile minds from a few millimeters of boob.

I hate Censorship. No doubt. The PR committees that make edit notes on my artwork drive me insane, and they know quite well that I don't approve.

Sad Fact: Consumers see something that upsets their fragile minds, they don't buy. They don't buy, you don't get paid.

Censorship sucks when the government forces it.
Voluntary Censorship to make sure your product/service makes cash is just a sad, sad fact of business.

:(

I'm sure the list could go on and on. There's censorship worth taking a stand against, imo, and then there's illustrated boobies.

I also don't like supporting censorship, but I DO like supporting American releases of adventure games. Your refusal to purchase will make no difference in discouraging censorship, but it will certainly make a difference in supporting the genre.

The problem with this is that, as far as I know, they didn't censor the actual game. In the screenshots on Amazon, she's still all... out there.

So in a way, it's almost false advertising.
