I listen to jrock , some bands include OZ, Versailles, D, Merry, mucc,Vidoll, Mix speakers inc, Alice nine, Dir en grey, 12012, Miyavi , Antic cafe, Pscyho Le Cemu , Gazette,Perfume, Move, High and mighty color, L'arc en ceil, Lillies and Remains ,Boris, pillows, Mono, Macium the hormone, Children of bordom, Polysics,fuck...on a beach, Sigh, etc.....

Modern Japanese pop is even worse than modern American pop. Seriously. I'd rather die than listen to this bullshit.

The only good modern rare J-pop that I like is fairly rare and obscure/alternative j-pop that I won't tell you guys what it is, because I don't want you copying off of my good taste in obscure J-pop music. You can stick with your visual kei horrors.
 
Jpop falls into a lot of regions though, Jrock is usually considered harder rock. So many bands you may think are Jrock are actually Jpop. haha

Have you guys heard Perfume?

Actually I'd really appreciate it if you could enlighten us. I enjoy music, and always want to learn about more. And yes, visual kei sucks.

Perfume is great! Even though they're an Idol group, their music and performances are a step above other Idol groups.
