Japanese Video Game Figure Thread

This thread is dedicated to Japanese produced video game figures. In the past, Japanese figures were mostly used for manga and anime characters, but lately they have started making figures from video game franchises. This is more of an awareness announcement than a deal thread since figures can easily sell out long before they are available and the second hand market can be crazy expensive. Pre-ordering is usually the cheapest way to get a popular figure.

Released Figures:

To give you an idea of what Japanese figures look like, the following are some that have been released over the years:

About Japanese Figures:

Scale figures, like Zero Suit Samus, are statues made of ABS and PVC. Scale are bigger than Figma, more detailed, and again for display rather than play. Scale figures are not posable and may not come with accessories or alternate facial expressions.

Figma is like an action figure but higher quality. Figma are very posable and come with accessories, alternate faces, and alternate hands to recreate poses from the source material (as well as make up your own scenarios). Check out all the different display poses they show off in pics. While they are designed with posability in mind, these are still meant for display rather than play. These aren't like action figures you would give a kid. Many Figma parts are compatible with other Figmas, allowing you to create interesting combinations of outfits and expressions.

Nendoroid are cutesy interpretations of characters. Each is about 4" tall and, like Figma, usually comes with various faces/hands/accessories to reproduce poses/scenes from the source material. Also like Figma, many Nendo parts are compatible with other Nendos. Faces, hair, hands, and outfits can often be swapped between characters.

Real Action Heroes (RAH) are like a blend of scale figure, Figma, and doll. They are still made of ABS and PVC, but the clothes are made of fabric, giving them a more realistic look. RAH are posable like Figma and typically include accessories and alternate faces. They are bigger than your average scale figure and very high quality. Accordingly, they are also exceedingly expensive.

Shipping:

Don't forget about shipping cost. SAL small packet registered should cost $10-20 and takes about 2-3 weeks to reach me in Florida. SAL may also be available unregistered for 410 JPY less, but you lose tracking and insurance (so if your package goes missing, you are sol). EMS is the best shipping and only takes about 2 days to arrive but is considerably more expensive. There is also SAL Parcel, but it is worth spending a little extra for EMS. You may have to use EMS if your item is too big to fit in a SAL box. I always use SAL registered when I can. If you pre-order multiple figures, you can combine shipping if they come out in the same month (assuming no delays) and save some money.

Shipping cost is based on weight. If you are ordering multiple figures at once, it is cheaper to request two SAL shipments than one EMS. It is also cheaper to combine items than do separate shipments for each. From my experience, 3-4 Nendoroid/Figma will fit in a single SAL box. A scale figure may fit with 1-2 Nendoroid/Figma boxes, depending on the scale and size of figure box used. Some figures come in larger boxes than expected. There is no way to know how large/heavy your figure will be before ordering. Some stores may offer an estimate at time of order or indicate that an item should be compatible with SAL.

SAL unregistered (no tracking or insurance) does not require a signature upon delivery. All other shipping methods do, so try to be home on delivery day. If you miss the delivery, you can stop by your local post office for pickup starting the next day.

Payment:

For most Japanese shops, you don't pay until the figure(s) is ready to ship. The exceptions are some limited edition items (which you'll have to pay for in full at time of purchase, including shipping) and certain stores that require a % deposit. Payment is best done through PayPal.

The current exchange rate can be viewed in PayPal -> Profile -> My Money -> Currencies (disclosure arrow of PayPal balance). The PP rate is always a little more expensive than the current rate since they charge a fee for the exchange (I believe 2.5%, the rate you see is already calculated with that fee). You can also opt to pay directly from your PP tied bank account or cc when checking out with PP.. You will have to check your bank and cc websites for their rate info, including whatever % fee they use for the exchange. Best case scenario would be to use a credit card that doesn't charge foreign transaction fees.

You will usually receive an invoice the day after an item is released. Shipping usually occurs the day after payment is sent, depending on the store.

Japanese Shops I've Used and Recommend:

AmiAmi: http://www.amiami.com/
My favorite store. Among the best prices. Easily combine orders by month. Amazing pre-owned section. Shipping is usually a little more than other stores since they use lots of packing materials.

Hobby Link Japan: http://www.hlj.com/
My second favorite store. Usually a bit more expensive than the store listed here. In exchange for higher prices, you can cancel orders at any time. Private warehouse feature lets you hold items for up to 60 days to combine shipping, though you still pay for the figure at time of release. Excellent customer service.

Hobby Search: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/
Can combine orders of the same month but not as nicely as AmiAmi. Can cancel a pre-order within the first week of placing.

Big in Japan: http://biginjap.com/
Prices usually a little lower than the rest. Good selection of prize figures. Can pay for pre-orders upfront. Can combine orders by month if you send them a message through your order history page. Can act as proxy or forwarder. Not good at responding to emails, so I don't use them now as much as I used to.

Tokyo Otaku Mode: http://otakumode.com/
Charges in USD $, pay upfront at time of placing order. Regularly offers coupons and bonus point campaigns. Has a Premium membership that is well worth getting since it pays for itself ($15 for 3 months gives you $16.50 in points), 5% off everything, slightly cheaper shipping, and better coupons. You get $5 in points when you register your account, plus another $5 if you signup through a referral link (referrer also gets $5), making your first order $10 off. Excellent customer service.

Amazon Japan: https://www.amazon.co.jp/

Thanks to their Global program, many of their figures are now eligible to be shipped directly to your house rather than having to go through a proxy/forwarder. This is only available on figures fulfilled by Amazon, including those sold by third-party and fulfilled by Amazon. Not all Amazon fulfilled items are eligible for Global shipping. Shipping cost is very good (around RSAL cost) and very fast (3-6 days). Japanese consumption tax (8%) is removed from the advertised price at checkout.

Plamoya: http://www.plamoya.com
Check for sales, otherwise usually overpriced.

Secondhand Japanese Shops I've Used and Recommend:

I buy a lot secondhand. The items are usually in great condition and, for most of my orders, have never been opened before. This lets me get figures I missed out on before I started collecting or couldn't budget at time of release.

AmiAmi Pre-owned: http://www.amiami.com/top/page/c/preowned.html
My favorite store for secondhand figures thanks to a daily updated selection, cheap shipping options, and combining pre-owned items with my pre-orders for that month. Items are rated by separate figure and box conditions. "A" condition means it looks brand new, "B" means there is some normal ware but should still be good, "C" or lower you should probably avoid (at least for figure condition, I personally don't care too much about secondhand box condition). Pricing is hit or miss, but usually good compared to other stores. Their selection is good and updated daily (except Sundays). Stock status is accurate when ordering.

Mandarake: http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/
Excellent source for secondhand figures. Mandarake is a web front for a collection of B&M hobby stores in Japan. Their selection is huge, pricing is great, and new items are added daily. Many of their secondhand items have never been opened. The condition is commonly something like "not opened/box damaged" which translates to it will look brand new when you get it :3 Each order can only be from a single store since it will be shipping from that one location. Because these are B&M stores, an item you ordered may sell out that same day in store (this has happened to me a few times). In that case, the item is removed from your order, or if your order is just one item, the order is cancelled. You can check boxes for "cancel order if this item is oos". You'll receive an email the following day with the items they were able to secure (hopefully everything in your order), the total including shipping, and a link to payment.

Suruga-ya: http://www.suruga-ya.jp/
Warning: Suruga-ya is in Japanese and requires a proxy or forwarder to get your items (see below for details).
Huge selection and low prices. Sales on items can randomly start at any time. Adding more items to your cart can give you a % discount. Stock system is accurate, at least from my experiences. As the website is only available in Japanese, use MFC to find the Japanese name of the character you are interested in so that you can perform a search.

Recommended US Shops:

Big Bad Toy Store (BBTS): http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/ (allows cancellations, no money down required on pre-orders, warehouse feature, $4 shipping)
Crunchyroll: http://www.crunchyroll.com/store/ (check for weekly deals, free shipping at $75)
Tokyo Otaku Mode (TOM): http://www.otakumode.com/ (I also count them as a US shop since some of their items are fulfilled by US warehouse, free shipping at $150)
Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/ (occasionally has some figures at good prices)

My Figure Collection:

MFC is an amazing (and free) community of figure collectors. It has info on all Japanese figures including release dates, pics, user ratings, reviews, etc. If you are interested in Japanese figure collecting, I highly recommend joining to keep track of your collection and follow the latest news on upcoming releases. Here's my MFC profile as an example: http://myfigurecollection.net/profile/Cantisama

CAG has an MFC club that you can join here: http://myfigurecollection.net/club/1219

Proxy and Forwarding:

There are two services when buying an item that cannot be shipped directly to your country, a proxy and a forwarder. A proxy is a business or person located in the host country (Japan in our case) that places an order on your behalf and then ships it to you.

With a forwarder, you are the one who places the order. You set the shipping address to that of the forwarder who is located in the host country. The forwarder then ships the package to you upon receipt.

Forwarding is typically cheaper than using a proxy since a proxy will charge a % fee based on order total that includes the cost of the item(s). Since with forwarding you are the one paying for the items directly, any % fee is only applied to the cost of shipping + a small forwarding fee. Using a proxy can be easier though since you don't have to place the order yourself on a website that may be only available in a foreign language.

There are many proxy and forwarding service providers. For Nendo Red from Amazon.co.jp, I used Big in Japan as a forwarder and the transaction went perfectly. Fees were also very reasonable.

Korrasami! A bit off topic for this thread (though Korra does have a video game or two).

I've been waiting for this to go up for pre-order for a long time. Reluctantly, I will have to pass. Besides being expensive ($215 + shipping), polystone scares the f* out of me. If this were pvc and around $150, I would have been all over it ;_;

Last edited by a moderator:
I've been reading up on it on MFC. Polystone is very brittle. It's common for your figure to arrive with at least one broken part.

I can't deal with paying so much, waiting a year, and then needing fixes upon arrival (which I wouldn't be good at). At least I got Nendo Korra. I also wanted the Zwyer Industries Korra pvc figure, but they failed miserably on her face.

Bring Arts Kaine (NieR) - AmiAmi, HLJ, Hobby Search

FIGURE-038368.jpg

Even though I love the first NieR to pieces and there's a good chance Kaine's preorders will sell out as quickly as 2B's did, I'm wondering if I should wait and see on this one.* Square Enix never was good at faces for their humanoid, non-chibi, non Dragon Quest figures, especially feminine faces. At least the knee joints look better than the ones on PAKs.

* - Give me a proper Emil figure though and I'd preorder in a heartbeat.

Pre-orders for 2B lasted at least a month if I remember correctly, so you should have time to make a decision.

I never played this Nier, but I do like the character design. I share your fear of her face being disappointing. Actually, I hesitate towards Bring Arts in general. Waiting to see how their 2B turns out (which should release soon, 4/14).

On another note, I got my Phat 1/7 Persona 5 Sakura Futaba in recently. For anyone who has been following this figure, it received some flak for changing the hair paint from the prototype. While the final product's hair paint is not as good, it still looks fine. Other than that, I have no disappointments. You get two ways to pose her, which is unusual for scale figures. She's 1/7 but fits in with 1/8 figures since the character is so short (4'11"). I still have P5 sitting in its LE box, but I really liked her character design and bio (computer savvy hikikomori ftw) so I picked her up anyway. Still in stock at most stores (HS is currently the cheapest).

Heads up: Do not order from Kirin Hobby anymore.

From what I've read, they are going dark like some other US shops (Anime Island, MHToyShop) did in the past year. If you have any pending orders, try contacting them by phone (I was never able to reach them by email the one time I ordered from them in the past). If you can't get a hold of them, start getting your money back through whatever means you pre-ordered with (PP, cc, or bank).

As far as US shops go, you're going to want to go with TOM, BBTS, CR, and Amazon for now.

Wow what is up with these US retailers? Thanks for the heads up lilman

I don't know if I consider TOM a US shop though.
The founder is from Japan, but their hq is in US (Portland, OR). TOM has warehouses in US and Japan. They say the vast majority of their customers are outside Japan.

They're definitely not a strictly Japanese company like AmiAmi, but they're also not strictly US like BBTS. It could go either way ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I didn't want to start a new thread for just this, but the thread is pretty appropriate. They just announced their Pereona 5 collection over at Fangamer.com. I bought the BigBang Burger shirt for the summer!

In case you didn't already see this in the Target Clearance Thread, some Targets have Nendo BotW Link DX for $18 (down from $60): https://brickseek.com/target-inventory-checker/?sku=207-04-1565

Seems to be mostly oos now. My store only has Nendo Tracer and Mercy, both full price.

Also, TOM is celebrating their 6th anniversary: https://otakumode.com/shop/pickup/tomweek

I don't see much in terms of sales, but they have a daily gacha coupon and free 90 day premium trial. Premium members can also redeem coupon CATCH to get 6000np ($11) for Akiba Catcher free. Note that you must use a cc to checkout at TOM for an order totaling $0 (PP and Amazon Pay will give you an error).

I fell into Akiba Cather's trap and spent $40 to get a prize (Sega Evangelion Kaworu coat ver). Really mad at myself right now, lol. On my last try at the $30 mark, the prize was falling and the claw caught it back onto the ledge on the way up. I was forced to spend another $10 to make the final move.

cs9pBeT.jpg

At least shipping is included, so it's more like a $30 prize. That isn't too terrible considering it was just released two days ago. Still, I even used the free 6000np from the premium coupon, so that took 14 x1800np tries to get ^^;

I already got Asuka and Rei from the same set through Amazon JP (forwarded by BiJ). Those were about $32 a piece after forwarding and shipping fees.

Anyway, like I expected, I get too into it, so I can't allow myself to spend money on ufo catchers again.

Last edited by a moderator:
I know I should have waited. Once I dropped any money into the catcher, I kept going until the prize fell. It kept looking like "one more try" OTL

If this prize is anything like the Rei of the same series, he will start out around 3k in the aftermarket and drop to a little under 2k over time. I probably overspent by about $12. I wasn't even in a rush to get him. I'm happy with just Rei and Asuka.

Oh well, lesson learned.

Is TOM Premium pretty easy to cancel? I might sign up for the free 90 days, but I'm not sure if I'll actually end up buying anything.

I need to cancel in 10 days. It looks easy. There is a cancellation button on my membership status page.

90 days free is nice, but I would maybe wait until there is an item with a premium discount you want before using up your trial. You could also wait for them to sweeten the deal further. They randomly emailed me one day an offer for 90 days free + $25 in TOM points. Not sure if that is something they do often, but that's when I jumped in.

-Update-

Looked at their site more, and I think the 90 days free premium trial is just how they do it now, not a special to celebrate their anniversary. Also seems you can only start a trial while ordering at least one item.

I really like her DLC story, but I probably won't get her unless she bins.

Torahime is probably going to tear a huge hole in my wallet.

I already got the Atlas and P-body figmas but dammit, I want the Nendos too! They're super adorable!!

Curious to know if P-body's head is removable as well, since that isn't shown in the promo shots.

Last edited by a moderator:
I think P-Body's head would have to be removable in order to reposition the eye.

I wasn't planning on getting these, but damn those portal effects are cool. I like how they used white panels for the bases of the portals like you would find in the testing rooms. Would be fun to use with other Nendos too.

I may try renewing TOM premium when my trial ends in a week. For $14.99 you get $16.50 in TOM points and 50% off the cheapest shipping option on all orders. If you don't renew and signup for premium again later, I think you still get the points bonus, but you have to wait until a renewal before you are eligible for the shipping discount.

I can confirm that you do get the points but not the shipping discount if you sign up again later

Speaking of which, that's a pretty nice shipping discount. My renewal deadline's coming up in May, and I'm wondering if I should go for it. Shipping aside, TOM's regular prices are pretty high, and their best deals don't happen that often.

Last edited by a moderator:
The 50% off shipping deal is good until November. The normal discount is smaller, at least 10%. It does mention something about 4+ month members only. I'll ask them to make sure this would work if I renew for 90 days.

I don't buy from them too often. Considering you get more back in points than you pay for the premium, it would pay for itself as long as you have something to buy. I'm debating those new Banpresto BNHA prizes. Todoroki's proportions look questionable though, and I already ordered the previous Deku (without holding his mask).

I tried out TOM customer service for the first time recently:
They were awesome! My Holo bride figure came with some paint marks on her face and collarbone. After sending them pics, they suggested I try an eraser to remove the paint, but it didn't work. They asked if there was anything else wrong with the figure. I found various small problems, nothing I would normally complain about, and showed them the pics. They sent me a replacement via EMS. The shipping alone cost them 4100yen. The replacement's face is shiny, suggesting it had similar paint marks to my original and that they had cleaned her up before shipping. I was very impressed that they took the time to look at my complaints and ensure the replacement was better. They also did not ask for the original figure back. I'm glad I didn't have to spend money to ship her (some companies, like Kotobukiya, require you ship back the defective product at your expense).

-Update-

TOM replied that the 50% off shipping deal should apply to all premium renewals. Guess I'll try it out.

I'm not a huge Japanese figure expert or collector- but anyone think it's worth picking up the Bring Arts 2b figure? It's a pretty pricey figure for me and I don't really know anything about Bring Arts (in terms of quality and whatnot).

Nier was a dope ass game and I do want the figure but I collected a few of the Kotobukiya bishoujo figures (only Japanese series I'd say I collected) and found out recently that they're re-releasing some of the ones I already have (vs some of the older ones I missed). It makes it hard to justify paying so much for something.

No. The 2chan link lilman posted earlier no longer works, but it seems like the figure turned out pretty badly. Bring Arts is a pretty new line, so no one knows if it's decent overall or not, but Square Enix's previous history with action figures has been hit or miss.

I might go for the machine lifeform set, as the one that came with 2B looked okay, but 2B herself is an easy pass (gotta finish Automata first, though). Not sure if trading figures are your thing, but Square Enix makes good-to-great ones, so the NieR:Automata Trading Arts Mini set will probably turn out well.

You can read firsthand feedback on her MFC page: https://myfigurecollection.net/item/573921

The short answer is no, don't waste your money on her. Most people are hoping Flare's 2B scale will turn out well: https://myfigurecollection.net/item/549472

The TOM rep I spoke with two weeks ago was wrong about 90 day premium renewal counting for the 50% off shipping promotion. I'm only getting 10% off. I emailed them to see if they will activate it for me since they said I would be eligible.

I ended up winning 12 times from Akiba Catcher free plays during my 90 day premium trial. My win log for anyone interested: https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/279912-japanese-video-game-figure-thread/page-262#entry13942157
Mostly just keychains, but it was still fun to win stuff for free. Now I have another 90 days to see what I can win ^^

Win log for next 90 days:

First day of my new 90 day premium starts with win #1, a Kantai Collection acrylic stand. Don't know which character I got as the prize was face down (-edit- arrived and I still don't know who this is, lol). It took me two tries to get. The first try lagged more than expected, so I compensated on the second try. The second chance came from the extra free play from a recent double free play Friday. Unlike the usual daily free play that expires in 24 hours, the extra free play premium members get on Fridays does not expire. I hold onto this extra play until I think I can win in two moves.

-Update-
Win #2 comes less than six hours after win #1. Another Re:Zero tin badge (my fourth one). It's Rem again. There are four designs for her, so hopefully I get unique versions (-edit- ended up getting a repeat). This second 90 day premium is going well so far ^^

-Update 2-

Win #3 is a Love Live Sunshine rubber keychain. I'm not familiar with this series, so I looked up a character with orange hair and guess this is Chika. The win was easy as the previous player set me up so that I just had to make contact to finish it off.

-Update 3-

Win #4 is another Ram tin badge. It's double free play day, but I only needed one try to win. I will bank the other play for another day. This seems to be the easiest machine to play at the moment, even if all you get is a tin badge. I'm not sure what I should do with these... maybe stick a magnet on the back and put them on the fridge?

-Update 4-

Win #5 is another Ram tin badge. This machine is almost out prizes (partly my fault, lol). Btw, I should of had a few more wins since my last win, but I experienced several wasted plays where holding the horizontal move button didn't actually move the claw. Just part of the Akiba Catcher experience :\

-Update 6-

Win #6 is another SAO Ordinal Scale acrylic keychain. Looks like Silica this time. Just like Yui before, the prize was already stuck above the falling area. I tried to tap it, but the claw doesn't reach down that far. After reporting the problem and expecting them to simply reposition the prize, they ended up giving it to me again.

I should have won several prizes before this one over the past several weeks, but lag has been shafting me hard. The most fun is when you position it perfectly one way, and then when you hold down the button for the second movement, nothing happens and your turn eventually ends. Glad they were free plays rather than real money wasted.

-Update 7-

Win #7 is a Kirito SAO Ordinal Scale acrylic keychain. This is a hard machine and it's almost out of prizes, so I'm glad I could get the last Kirito. There's only one Asuna left, but I doubt I'll get my next free play in time to have a chance at winning her.

-Update 8-

Win #8 is another Love Live Sunshine pass case (this time red... I have no idea who these characters are). That just leaves the blue one to win to complete the set.

I've noticed lately a new fun twist that makes winning even harder: sometimes the machine skips my place in line. When my turn should be starting, it still says I am waiting in line, and then someone else eventually starts playing in place of me. This has happened a few times when the next play (what should have been mine) was a winner. If this were a video game, hard mode just became nightmare mode OTL

-Update 9-

Win #9 comes a few hours after #8 and completes my Love Live Sunshine pass case collection with the blue one. If only I knew anything about Love Live... or would ever use a pass case... or would ever need more than one pass case :p The free play machines right now are uninteresting, so it's pass case or nothing.

-Update 10-

Win #10 is the yellow Love Live Sunshine pass case again. I already have all 3 prizes from this machine, so I'm just winning for the heck of it now while I wait for a new free play machine to appear. I knew the prize was two moves away from winning, so I waited until one minute before the free play refresh, used my about-to-expire free play to set myself up, then got my new free play to finish it off.

A machine yesterday skipped my turn in line twice. I'm guessing it's the result of extreme lag with certain machines.

-Update 11-

Win #11 is the same as #10. I've obviously learned how to win at this machine. There are only a few prizes left in this one, so hopefully I get to win something new soon.

-Update 12-

Win #12 is an Osomatsu-san keychain from a newly added machine. This win comes about an hour after win #11. I used the free play I saved from the weekly double play two days ago. I haven't watched this series, but at least the prize is different from my previous few Love Live pass cases ^^;

Heard back from TOM, and they are saying the 50% discount promotion was from 2017. They didn't put a year anywhere on the promotion page. They have now taken the page down. I was given $3 in TOM points for the confusion (which doesn't mean much considering in my first order alone, I was planning to save more than $3 on shipping).

Renewing TOM premium still isn't a bad deal since you spend $14.99 and get $16.50 in points. I'm still annoyed though since this felt like false advertising, especially with a TOM rep confirming the shipping discount before I renewed :\

Via wewe at MFC, here's a new 30% off coupon from TOM (expires May 29th): FLUFFY

This coupon affects the entire cart, but said cart must include an item with the "Plushies" label. Fortunately, there's a ton of cheap options if you aren't much of a plush fan. They have some video game-related plushies, too: Square Enix, Kirby, etc.

There's also a 10x points promo going on through May 28th, so a pretty good discount, all in all (yes, I took advantage of it!). It gets even better if you're into swimsuit figures, for which there's a sale going on.

Thanks a lot R. Kasahara for the killer TOM deal! Today's the last day for anyone interested.

I ordered:

F:NEX 1/7 Overlord Albedo - $170.99 (non-premium $179.99)

Alter 1/7 Fate/GO Scathach Loungewear ver - $147.24 (non-premium $154.99)

My Hero Academia Uraraka Plush - $8.55 (non-premium $9)

Total: $326.78 - 30% plush coupon = $228.75

Factoring in the coupon and distributing the cost of the plush between the two figures, Albedo cost $123 and Scathach was $106. Shipping was free since the order was over $150. Very good prices for these two figures. Scathach alone was going to cost me $123 + around $14 in shipping from HLJ. Being TOM premium saved me $11 compared to a regular member, so it really was a good decision when I renewed earlier.

There were cheaper plushes available, but I figured I would spend a little more and get a BNHA character rather than some random animal plush keychain :p

To top it all off, today they started a 20x points promo if you buy at least 2 items in an order. I got back $45 in TOM points. If you bought earlier during the 10x promo, they say you can email them and they'll credit your account the points difference.

That's awesome of them. I would've regretted missing out on that deal otherwise! Already sent them an email.

I'm a longtime plush collector-- even founded the plush club on MFC-- so picking one out wasn't very hard for me. Even though I usually don't go for this sort of plush, I got one of these silly little shibes (Okaka, to be specific) :3

Those shiba were in a TOM crane machine for a while. You got one a lot cheaper than anyone who played for it, lol.

If you don't mind me asking, what figures did you end up getting from this deal?

Yeah, I attempted getting one of those plushies via Net Catcher quite a few times XD

Besides that plush, I got Nendo Atlas, Nendo P-body, figma Fuu Hououji (have to complete that Rayearth set), and figma Higma. After the coupon and using about $12 in points, everything came to an even $150.00.

I remembered too late that my husband wanted Nendo Guardian, so I feel bad about that, but depending on how many points I get credited thanks to this new deal (ETA: $15! Thanks, TOM!), and/or whatever the next Sakura Coupon ends up being, I may pick it up for him soon.

Yeah, I failed at trying to ignore this promo. Every time I think I'm done with figures some great excuse to get all the ones I had been skipping comes along, it seems.
