I'd jump on this, but I already have them. Highly recommended. This was an old mini series in the 80's that used Jim Henson puppets to tell folk stories, then it later came back to tell Greek Myths.

Interesting...never even heard of it and I used to follow everything Muppets in the 80's. Was it on network TV?

Yeah, I think it was on NBC.

Each story (of the original run, before the Greek Myths) was told by an old man (the titular character) with a dog, which was a muppet.

Its a great series, But i heard the DVD quality of the first disc isnt great since they decided to pack 9 episodes into it....
There isnt even enough room for Captions and extras. Still a good deal on a great TV show. Muppets are awesome...
