Just scored more than a $125 at prom!!

well not exactly at prom but at the after prom party (project prom). i dont know how many other schools do this but ours rented out gullians, a huge place with pool, bowling, game arcade, etc. for $10 u got a free t-shirt and all the food and games u could play for the whole night (11:30 to 5:00 am).

anyway first of all just for showing up they gave u (at the end) a free $75 gift card to walmart. then they were giving out prizes all night (gba's, tv's, dvd players, mp3 players, lots more with a total of 300 prizes or so). my name got drawn for another $50 gift certificate for walmart. then some of the guys who got gba's weren't too happy so i offered one $20 for it.... i got a new sealed gba for 20!!

well thats about the best party i've ever been to. anyone else had one of these after prom parties?
 
The school at my hometown does this every year. The thinking is that if people go to the party they won't be getting drunk and driving themselves off the road.

They did casino night when I was in high school and a friend of mine had a gift for blackjack. He had enough money to buy anything he wanted, but spent so much time at the tables everything was gone when he went to cash in his chips.

That's great that you won all that stuff. But my goal for prom was not coming home with gift cards, it was to get laid.

That's true, unfortunatley I did neither, but oh well.
 
My high school had a post prom party at some athletic club (they also had Lazer Tag). They had a bunch of raffles for stuff like N64's, TV's and electronics but I didn't win anything.
 
My after prom (for junior year) sucked....they had something similar but I didn't win anything and well it just wasn't a good nite in general.
 
wow, my prom party I got loaded off of miller beer, not the light or the mgd, but straight miller beer with the red label, then I tossed the cookies all over my friends pile of firewood

My most fond memory was of this exchange student from Ecuador named Juan, he stood a whole 4 feet 9 inches high (most amazing soccer player I had ever seen too), may have weighed 90 lbs and this guy did like 30 keg stands. Granted he didn't make it much further into the night, but he sure made us football players look like a bunch of scrubs.

We had casino night at my post prom party too. You used the fake cash to buy raffle tickets. Then they had a big drawing at the end giving away a lot of stuff, including a car. I didn't win anything though, and the car was pretty bad.
 
Highlight of my prom: Outside in the French Quarter in New Orleans standing there with 2 slightly intoxicated girls, while in my tux with it just being draped over my shoulders...had a guy pull over and ask me how much for the girls. Nothing like being mistaken for a pimp on prom night...all I needed was a cane. You know, the PIMP cane!
