Kennywood Deals?

Ya. Im from Ohio and will be in PA the weekend of August 14th. Im going to a concert one night and wanted to go to Kennywood the next. Have you been to Kennywood? Any recommended rides or attractions to check out?
 
Im actually going to a concert at Meadows race track and casino on the 14th. Could you recommend any attractions around there? Ill be there Friday thru Sunday.

It's not too crowded and last time i was there you could "sign in" for busier rides. they would give you a time to come back. wait was usually 15 mins. and right next to kennywood is Sandcastle Water Park. I think it's better than k-wood.
 
Yeah, and there's a Giant Eagle right down the street from Kennywood. Just don't linger in the area for too long, not that great of a neighborhood.

As far as other things to do, it depends on your age. Southside is awesome if you're of drinking age. A ton of clubs, bars, pubs, etc.
