Kinect Connection questions

I was thinking of getting the Kinect from Target on sale but I dont have the new black xbox360, will this kinect need more to connect to my xbox360 other than what comes in the box with it? thanks in advance.
 
no, if you buy the Kinect by itself, it comes with the extra cord to connect with Xbox 360 Phats

if you buy it with a Xbox 360 Slim, it does not come with the cord because no need
