I got it for 24.99 because it was in the 50% bin. They Override it for me.
Fable - Not Certain (29.99) They override it and gave it to me for 15

I could not confirm the prices since the sale does not start till tommorow but they were all in the 50% off bin starting tommorow.

I'll try to confirm the prices tommorow, if anyone finds anything else or know the prices pm me I'll try and keep this list updated so we don't need to scan through the forums if you guys don't mind, I will credit whoever pmed me first.

Metroid/Wavebird bundle clearance for $29.99 (boblentil)
It was placed on clearance within the last couple weeks, because it was full price last time I checked. Typically, Kmart clearance items will have their prices halved every month. You might want to try to wait this one out for another price drop, because there is a very good chance that the bundle will be poorly displayed and no one will bother to change the marked price.

I went earlier today and picked up Viewtiful Joe 2 and NHL 2004, both for Gamecube and both at $10 a piece. VJ2 was in a case so I had the cashier do a price check. It rang up at $10 so I got it. I also had her scan Animal Crossing, but it came up at $20. It was the Player's Choice version, I don't know if that matters. Thanks to CAG and the original poster.

I got FFT:A for 17.49 Only thing I saw worth getting, but got in about 10 minutes for the store closed so didn't have a whole lot of time to look around.
 
i picked up tony hawk 4 for the GC for $3.99 today. I was looking for the GBA stuff but sadly, they didn't have either FF:TA or Fire Emblem.
 
I picked up VJ2 for the cube they had DMC3 in the bin it scanned at $49.99 and I thought I could charm the girl into letting it go at $25.00 but it was a no go.
 
I did pretty well in the last Kmart sale, and fortunately, I found some decent stuff this time too. I've been eyeing the non-GH copy of Ratchet & Clank that the local Kmart has, so I was glad it was one of the 50% off titles this time. I picked up that and Viewtiful Joe 2 (GCN) for $9.99 each. Both were unmarked and in the display case instead of in the 50% bin.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the list, because otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to grab these two games.
 
NOTE: If a game is inside the glass case and not in the clearance bin, ask the cashier to take it out and price check it. When I got my copies of Riddick and VJ2, they were both inside the glass case. I asked the lady to price check them and they came up to be $15 and $10. Hoped this helped.
 
If anyone is still looking for last minute pickups, the Coeur d'Alene Idaho K-Mart had a good selection available. I picked up Viewtiful Joe 2, FFTA, and Bloodrayne 2. Thanks OP and everyone else who contributed to this thread!
 
I stumbled across this sale on my own today and picked up a copy of Rumble Roses...love that sweet bouncy action!

If anyone happens across a cheap PS2 Wipeout Fusion, PS2 Splinter Cell (non-GH only), or PS2 Rogue Ops (if it's really part of the sale)...please pick them up for me.! I'd be very appreciative. Thanks!

Just came back from K-Mart and found one game that's not on the list:

I went to one Kmart that had *nothing* out for the sale in the electronics department (funny because in the previous sale this one had a rack out in the main aisle with all the sale games on it). There was the store-wide sale with the people dressed like the Easter Bunny and all that, but nothing going in the games section. Fortunately I had gotten VJ2 and Jak II at another one the day before (it was in the case and not out with their sale games - clerk was surprised they were 1/2 off).

So, the old dude (note, I ain't a young dude - most of you would probably consider me middle-aged - lets just say my first video game experience was pong) in the games department asked me if I needed help. I wanted to check out the games case before I got him to open it up so I deferred. Then he was off helping someone else as my 2 year old started squirming and trying to run like crazy anywhere BUT the games section. I corralled him and waited patiently for the guy to chat chat chat with someone (2 year-old squirming and making a fuss in my arms). Finally I got his attention to ask about the copy of Jedi Starfighter I saw in the case. I figured that was a good candidate to price check - it was marked $39.99. So, he comes over and tells me on the way that that he can "take a look" and tell me what it is (uh-oh, I thought). Sure enough, he says it's $39.99. He then embellishes his story with the "fact" that many of the games are up to $70 in that case (what!?). He wouldn't open it and scan anything for me - like I was some kind of crazed lunatic for not trusting their years-old price stickers. What pissed me off was that I waited so long with the squirming hulk (did I say my 2 year old weighs almost 50 pounds?) and got no kind of help. Next time I bring a printed UPC sheet!

Later I went to another Kmart that had Ape Escape 2 (which I was looking for thanks to the list earlier in this thread) and Jedi Starfighter. Both were marked $39.99 but Ape Escape rang up $9.99 and Jedi Starfighter $19.99. So I didn't miss anything as it turns out (got Ape Escape, passed on Jedi Starfighter - I'm looking for it for sub-$10). The other (bad) store had VJ2 also, so I'm glad I had gotten that already - would have been pissed if I missed it because of the clerk.

On another topic, the 3rd Kmart had the following on regular clearance:
Blowout PS2 - $1.99
Power Puff Relish Rampage PS2 - $6.97

The kicker is that they also apply an additional 20% off on the clearance items. That made Blowout (which I plan to use for GR trade) $1.59, which is the cheapest I've ever gotten any game (TRU excluded of course).

There wasn't a darn thing marked at my Kmart, but the sale was in effect. The stoner of a kid was pretty pissed that I kept asking to have things checked, but he wouldn't grab more than one thing at a time. His fault I say.

I hadn't checked CAG since Friday night (that vacation thing and all :rofl:), though abilyk came through for me and found MP4/WB bundle, Rumble Roses and Monster Hunter.

Only one I would need is Fire Emblem, which I'm sure some nice CAG will have found for me. [-o< [-o< [-o< Contra:SS is a huge longshot, anyway.
 
Dunno if this was mentioned but I had an emplyoee scan games (with a scan gun thing)like vj2 to see if it came to 50% off but they scanned at their regular price.

When I brought it to the register, the 50% off drop took effect.

I also saw the following games at clearance prices.

BTW - One of my "local" K-Marts (i wont mention the one that had Outrun marked @ $40 and Men of Valor @ 50) had a bunch of Metal Gear Solid 2 : substance (for Xbox) in the normal clearance bin for $9.99, not bad....

Interesting. I was at a KMart here and I was wondering why Sly Cooper came up as $7.99 when it was marked at $9.99. There was nothing that identified it as being on clearance too. Anybody know if this 20% off thing is still going on?

Oh, in my last run, I found Monster Hunter, Onimusha 3 (last one I saw), Shadow Hearts Covenant, and Mega Man Command Mission. Nothing new or exciting.

I just tried Riddick that I bought yesterday for $15, and man is that game GOOD!!! Can't believe a game like that can be bought for $15!! I'm going to go try VJ2 later on today, hopefully it is as good as Riddick. Well, thanks a lot CAG and OP :D

Yeah, I was specifically looking for MP4/WB, FE and RR (among others). But mine only had RR.

I really need to scrape up some money for next month, because the KMart I happened to go to had tons of good games, including multiples of VJ2 and Amplitude, but I couldn't even afford what I ended up spending on myself... I sure hope I can help the CAGs out next month.



And I agree with you, evilmax. If KMart doesn't win, we're sure in for the deal of the century sometime this year...

Yeah, I couldn't figure that out either... I got it a few weeks ago for $45 with trade in credit. That is the only reason I didn't pay $25 for it.

For once, I actually found games at a store's sale around here. They had a bunch of VJ2 and BK and RR and Amplitude and some of the other real good deals.

I think it's mostly that Baten Kaitos does not appeal to your typical Kmart customers.... You know, 5-year-olds with their parents, 80-year-olds, people who don't know how to read OOPS SORRY

You should be more careful... I think that mmn is an 80 year old with a 5 year old child, and he is also illiterate... That is why he doesn't know that the worldwide numbers for GCN and XBOX are about equal.
 
The guy I talked to in electronics said they have these 50% off sales every other weekend but with different games.... wasn't sure to believe him or not...
