LEGO Deals 3

Macy's has a lot of sets for 20-30% off online: https://www.macys.com/shop/for-the-home/toys-games?id=210254&cm_kws=lego

There are some notable ones like the Batcave, Newbury High, and Road Hog that haven't been on sale yet as far as I know.
Thanks! Some of the sets are the cheapest I have ever seen them, like part of the HP castle, the NinjaGo Mad Max set, and a few others. If the 10% off coupon works (None of the coupons I tried worked) then Frozen 2, Jurassic World sets are really cheap relative to normal.

But more importantly it reminds me I need new snow and hiking boots which are on sale. :)

At Target yesterday I looked at the big grey baseplate for the first time in years. I wish I bought a couple, it's huge. I love it.

Well, I got a long road ahead of me, boys. Wish me luck.
For some reason the picture doesn't show up on my computer, so I was confused. Then on my phone I saw it. Yikes! Having built a much smaller UCS Vador TIE it was insane. I wish you the best with that. Now I see why the person was selling it.

Any updates on the supposed Black Friday list? If the Disney train is on sale I’m gonna try to pick that up

Edit - when you google “LEGO store Black Friday 2019” they disney train being 30% off is the first result so it looks like it’s happening!

Jang(Bricks) did a video about the Bricklink sale. I'm not sure if he was naive or just trying to please everyone and not piss off LEGO. But LEGO is not interested in the fans, to think they are is borderline stupid. Nothing they have done in recent years screams "we like our fans!"

And the 2020 pricing structure screams "fuck you!" to LEGO fans.

And to make things more fun for the holiday season, my trackpad doesn't work right on my Mac so I have to use a mouse and even that is being weird. I'm really not wanting to go to the mall on  Black Friday to fix it.

My Macbook is from 2012 so maybe the 2019 models are, I just can't afford that yet. :D/

Come on now... it wasn't jizz, it was the lube silly.
Hey, if your lube kills electronics I'm happy that you're prepared for the rise of the machines. There's a quality porn parody in there.

LEGO is going into a different market in 2020...

Slightly off topic. I'm watching a random episode of the new Duck Tales. It's a really fun show. Is it on Disney+? I'd like to watch the show in order.

Instead of buying BrickLink, LEGO should have bought a book about coding and maybe a few extra servers. Their website is one of the worst e-commerce sites that still exist in 2019. Just insanely bad.

Yep.  Lego's site is hosed.  I managed to get a Lego bat mobile, but it did not add the free Christmas Tree set.  It also said I used a VIP $20 code I tried to apply when I did not.  Ugh.  What a pain...

I could get to the shipping method and the site craps out after that. =/

UPDATE:

Only took damn near two hours to check out. =/

Last time I ordered on LEGO I couldn't pay in credit card, I had to pay in PayPal and neither could anyone else. Why would you need to have a website take credit cards? It's only 2019 and you are the biggest toy seller in the world? Clearly no one wants to buy your product. But it's a good thing LEGO increased the prices to pay for the redo VIP system to make that better and the recently redone website to make it up to date.

What amazes me is nothing is sold out yet. The Train is $230 (Which is a great price and you get $25 in VIP) and not sold out? Last year I remember well cat sitting for an ex and the website barely functioned and the D. Office was sold out by 12:30 when the website took about 15 minutes to get going. I just hope I don't lose power or internet when the PR set goes on sale, and it's also 30% off.

Anyone have $550 I can 'borrow' to INVEST (That sounds better) on LEGO? Target had 5 NinjaGo Docks left yesterday, they now only have 2. I was hoping for half off from them during next week's Target LEGO Sale. :) I was also hoping the Docks would be sold out at S@H by the time I woke up so I wouldn't be temped to buy it. Must not buy it... must not buy it.... *probably goes and buys it*

Well, after numerous issues with Lego last night, I chatted with customer service this morning and they were extremely helpful.  The refunded me my VIP points that I kept trying to apply to my order and it said they already applied, but never showed up.  And they also gave me the free Christmas Tree set as a separate order since it never got added to my original order like it should have.

Overall, better experience.  But their site still sucks and I can't believe after all these years Lego still has issues with handling traffic.

I've never understood that either.  One of the biggest toy brands in the world and the site is still a hot mess.  Just worried about that bottom line I guess. Don't want to spend the money to improve the user experience.

It's not one of the biggest, it's now the biggest for the last few years and the sight still sucks.
Thankfully they still have the best costumer service ever to make up for it a little.

At least this year things didn't sell out before the site even functioned. But NinjaGo Docks is OOS now. :(

Huh, the USC MF lightning deal "sold out", yet you can still buy it from Amazon for full price.  Not very sporting of Amazon on this one.  Maybe the Monday morning sale will have a 30% off surprise.

Again this year, quite a few Walmarts have the Classics door buster set down to $10 in store on Friday morning.  Black Friday is now just clearance for Thanksgiving, which is now just clearance for the stuff from the first 11 months of the year.

UCS Millennium Falcon went live and was immediately sold out, presumably thanks to bots. It was gone within a split second of going live.

I hope neither of you are surprised by that, this is what Amazon does EVERY year. It's why I was annoyed every LEGO fan site didn't report the news correctly.

Yeah if someone here got the Falcon or knows someone who got the Falcon for $480 let me know. I'm curious.

I'm just waiting for Monday / Sunday night to get the PR and hope there are still Christmas Trees left, plus 30% off and not 20% like years past.

My uncle used to work for LEGO years and years ago. He got a bunch of Duplo when I was little. I asked if he still did, sadly nope. But he bought the City Advent for his grandson, then it turns out my sister bought the City Advent and so did I.

Saw the Batmobile in store today. It’s nice but I’d have nowhere to display it. Really tempted to just buy the smaller Batmobile off of eBay, but at that point I may as well just get the Pursuit of Joker one for even less

I'm currently leading an eBay auction for the smaller one and am watching several others if I get outbid. Made the mistake of picking a built one up in store today to explore the build and it's just spectacular. I may end up with it before my sanity catches up to me and closes the wallet.

I might be able to get the ucs falcon for 45 percent off next month, but it's hard to justify when I just bought the old ucs falcon last week. The batmobile does look pretty rad.

Went to the LEGO store first thing this morning, mall wasn’t even crazy. Pretty much everyone was there for the batmobile but I picked up the Disney train, paid nothing out of pocket since I had some unopened sets to exchange

The free Batmobile and Christmas Tree are both out of stock. In about one day out of a four day sale. Pathetic that LEGO really has no idea how to predict how many people want 'free' things.

But watch, next July they will randomly have more appear.

And a rare cheaper Technic deal.

well that saves me making a purchase from their store this weekend, thanks for the heads up!

Contemplating if I want to spend 35 bucks to get shazam and riddler minifigures from that meh DC set. The yoda on dagobah set is marked down pretty well. Might need that

Come on now, the Lego Tree has been available since the 23rd, at least. I already got and sold mine. Days ago.

I think part of the problem was that the Red Brick is a POS that no one wants, so it's easier to split up orders into $120 to get multiple trees.

It was out for VIP Weekend. So the 23 / 24th. That's it. It didn't even make it through half of the days it was supposed to be free. Now there is nothing for Cyber Monday. At the very least there are probably those Red Bricks, just give those out instead.

Today is the day Target and Walmart start carrying the FRIENDS TV Series set. Walmart is supposed to be $48 according to some ad scan.

Target has most of the Unikitty and LM2 sets 50% off, NinjaGo Dragon pit, Arctic Mobile Base (OOS), Porg is $35, Technic Rally Car, Speed Champs 75889 and a few others also 50% off. NinjaGo City and Docks were 20% off. Things go in and out of stock or you can't add them to cart. (Like a
