My b/f's home phone just got a call from someone offering free a Girls Gone Wild DVD if you answered a quick survey. Have any of you gotten a phone call like this? He says its probably from all the magazine offers we've signed up for, but I don't know. It was some lady obviously reading something, so it didn't seem like a scam. Please let me know if any of you got a similar phone call. It would really bail out my b/f right now, too :twisted:

Well it probably means someone in his house bought a men's magazine and this doesn't have to be like playboy it could be mens health or Maxim. So I'd blame the magazine offers. If he'd actually been buying porn you'd see a lot more of this kinda shit in his male box.
 
It's probably one of those deals where he gets a free video but then every month gets sent a new one he has to either send back or pay for.

Yeah, that was his excuse. Its funny cuz he and his dad have the same first name, so had his dad answered the phone, he would have had some explaining to do :lol:

I know, I actually signed up for a "free" subscription to mens health once and I got so much shit like this, I never got any calls but I'd gets piles of leaflets for things like dietary suplements and also a few from Maxim and Playboy so if he actually put his telephone number there's a good chance they'll call that to. Thats why even though I'll give out my real address I never give out my telephone #, junk mail is much easier to deal with.

Well, it wouldn't be a problem if they offered another DVD for free, preferably something that wasn't just a collection of boobies and drunk girls making out. (I feel another pr0n thread coming on) ](*,) #-o

Yeah well its called cross marketing they know a lot of the same people who buy mens health will also buy girls gone wild so they market it to all of them.

Well after reading all this I simply suggest that you get 2 different screen names to avoid future confusion, but other than that I'm sure you'll work something out on the posting front.
