Logitech Drive FX Wheel Problem

I recently purchased the Drive FX wheel for 360 on Ebay using the 35% off deal.

When I turn on my 360 the wheel automatically turns itself left about 10 to 15 degrees and considers that "centered"

I can force the wheel all the way right and when it comes back it is correctly centered, but the cars steer right because the game thinks the wheel is now right of the original (wrong) center.

I tried holding the wheel in place as I started the system to force it into the correct center, but it shifts back as soon as I let go.

Is there anyway to calibrate this wheel correctly?

The only other option I can come up with is to attach the wheel 10 to 15 degrees off center in the other direction. This would look kind of awkward and would require a strangely shaped attachment base that I do not possess.

Any ideas?
