Looking for a certain type of PS3 racer

Back in the day, my original xbox came with JSRF/Sega GT 2002. I really really enjoyed Sega GT 2002, It was a fantastic game in my opinion. I really liked how it had licensed cars but you could upgrade them and modify them. Then a couple of months ago I got Blur from the Best Buy sale, and I thought that was great too. I loved that it had both modern and classic name brand cars, however I couldnt modify them. Are there any ps3 games that will give me the best of both worlds?

Try any of the need 4 speed most wanted games. Or Juiced even though I thought it sucked. Midnight Club..... Or snag an import copy of Initial D.
