Looking for a cheap divx dvd player

I am looking for a dvd player that plays divx. The cheapest I found was around 43.00 on I think buy.com. I need them to play movies off of data cd.

I'm also interested in one. Also, if I have subtitle files (.srt), how hard would it be to be able to watch the burned disc with subtitles?

You can get a Philips divx player almost anywhere for about the same price but I would really recommend the Philips DVP 5990 for $65 because it has a usb port in the front and will let you play your movies right off a thumb drive or external usb harddrive.

If you want the cheapest and best divx player get an Xbox 1 for $39 and install Xbox Media Center (XMBC) on it. It plays every format known to man pretty much for video, audio, pics and emulators. Haven't seen a media player better ever at any price. I'm sure it's out there, but I haven't seen it.
