I do a lot of gaming on my laptop (Toshiba 17" Satellite), but as you can imagine it gets pretty hot after extended gaming sessions (upwards to 95 degrees C*), so I'm looking for recommendations on a good cooling pad.

I've done some looking around myself, and so far I like the sound of these two:

Xpad: http://www.amazon.com/Xpad-Non-slip-Laptop-Cooler-Heatshield/dp/B000PH2E3E

Antec USB-Powered Pad: http://www.amazon.com/Antec-Notebook-Cooler-USB-Powered/dp/B0000BVYTV

If anyone has any experience with either of these or has any other suggestions, let me know what you think.

well before you go and buy one, have you tried dusting out your laptop's fans and vents? Preferably with compressed air. I did and it dropped my temperatures significantly

also both your links link to the same thing.

I also have a Zalman NC1000 notebook cooler. It's a bit on the expensive side (like $40-$50) but it does the job.
The Antec one is a good cooler but the cord and the pin is flimsy so mine broke. What I am currently using is: http://www.amazon.com/Connectland-C...8?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1282169218&sr=8-8

It's a great stand/cooler. Sure the fan is not that powerful but the combo fan/stand make it a great cooler. Also it is a bit uncomfortable when in your lap but if you have a blanket or something you should be good to go.
That last part is fine as I never set mine in my lap. It's either on my bed or couch.

Excellent guide here:

I have an Antec 2 fan USB powered (now, used an adapter since didn't find a USB one ) I got for $2 + USB adapter $0.13, it works really good, everything is really cool to the touch, compared to without it ( on flat surface in living room )

I would read that guide, it's a must if you want good cooling. Basically you just need the fans to align with the vents in the bottom is what I'd say.

see better you go for dell laptops ,it is cheap as well as you will get nice graphics in it ,you dont get it in pad.
