Looking for a good repair guide for the dreaded RROD

CAGiversary!
I am going back and forth with xbox trying to get them to repair my RROD (AGAIN), but they said my warranty has expired. I previously returned my xbox 2 years ago and was given a new (refurbished probably) one and I was hoping the three year warranty would be extended but apparently not. So I am going to attempt to fix it myself this weekend. A lot of the guides on the net seem shady, might break my xbox or are charging a fee. Anyone know a good website/video where I can fix it myself?
