CAGiversary!
Hi, I recently got the idea in my head that I would enjoy getting into HD home videos. But before going all aboard on this I was wondering if anyone could suggest a budget HD camcorder that works decently so I can experiment on the cheap before buying a full blown consumer HD camcorder.
I was looking at the Flips but I keep reading about charging issues with them.
So if anyone has experience with a budget HD camcorder that works decently for what it is I would like to hear about it.
The basic specs of what I am looking for would be:
At least 720p
Good battery life
Expandable memory (preferably SD since I have a few spare class 6 cards laying around)
USB
Windows Vista 64 compatible
Smooth video during movement
Decent in varied light settings
HDMI out (not a deal breaker but it would be nice)
Thanks.
