I'm going on a trip in a couple weeks and I don't want to fool with disposables, so I'm looking for an affordable digital camera. I'd prefer for it to be one of those slim, sleek, and sexy models, with good megapixelage, optical zoom, and sd memory. I've found some nice ones in the $250 range, but I was hoping to spend less than that. I figured some of you must have bought a camera recently and could offer some adviced for me. Please and thank you.

Hey we are selling the same kind of Camera here in my store, except I am in canada and it's much cheaper it's about $218 in US currency, so in Canada for me it would be $249 Canadian. The Camera is refurbished but has a 1 year warranty with Kodak with prof of purchase(receipt).

You could've gotten the 5.1 megapixel Kodak Easyshare C340 for $123 shipped AC just two days ago at dell.com. Keep an eye out on bensbargains since they always have good camera deals.

Edit: Buydig has the 5 megapixel Kodak Easyshare C530 for $124 shipped, but a quick look at the description shows that it doesn't have optical zoom (digital is crap). I also haven't been able to find reviews for it other than some ratings at Circuit City, which it got great reviews. Still, if you're interested in it, you can buy it here: http://buydig.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=KDC530
