On Dashboard, there is a section where you can vote for which senior in college basketball should win Lowe's Senior Class Award. The choices are...

-Devon Beitzel (North Colorado)
-Dodie Dunson (Bradley)
-Jimmer Fredette (BYU)
-Matt Howard (Butler)
-Cameron Jones (Northern Arizona)
-Jon Leuer (Wisconsin)
-David Lighty (Ohio St)
-E'twaun Moore (Purdont)
-Tyrel Reed (Kansas)
-Kyle Singler (Duke)

I can't believe that Jimmer only has 5% of the vote. That is just upsurd. Hopefully some real basketball fans will give this guy the praise he deserves. He is carrying that team on his back. The two front runner Reed (35%) and Lighty (20%) both has other guys to rely on; Reed has the Morris Twins and Lighty has diaperdandy Sullinger. What's even more a crime is Reed is winning so far and the dude didn't make the cut for the ballot on the John Wooden award.
 
People are voting for their team's player rather than whoever may be the best senior. That's how these types of polls always are when the public gets to decide who wins.
 
Or there could just be loads of people like me who have never heard of any of these guys, let alone ever watched a baaketball game, and just vote randomly =)
 
Jimmer plays for BYU. That right there is the reason he has 5% of the vote. If he played in a bigger conference, he would have already won this vote along with every other award out there.
