Oh god.
Get over it, ok? There's no way for Nintendo to change this generation. If you don't want it, then don't buy it. Simple.
But to place the blame on the people who are willing to buy the game and put up with a whole 2 minutes of putting in a code is asinine, just because you aren't willing to jump through the mile-wide hoop Nintendo places before you.
This shouldn't be a discussion about how you hate friend codes and how you hate people who are using them and how you hate Nintendo for using them, because there's been threads dedicated to those topics. To turn every last topic with any mention of online into nothing more than a whine-choir is boring, borderline troll activity.
Nintendo - at this point - is going to use FCs for their first party games for the rest of the Wii's life. Unfortunately, they most likely will do it with their next system, and every system down the line.
If you don't like it, then you don't buy the game. It's really that simple, because you're sending out a stronger message than someone who does buy it to play the game, let alone someone who buys it and plays it online. To chastize those of us that do sounds a LOT like third grade playground rhetoric, where kids say shit like "You want to play four square? You're dumb. Tag is way better."
And before I end this post, do not confuse this with giving Nintendo a pass, ok? Because I'm not, and there's quite a few people running around who need remedial reading lessons, because that is all they will read from this post. Again, such discussions are for other threads.
If you want to make a piss and woe party, then start up a thread called "Friend Codes suck," and then make good arguments against it, instead of just looking like a whiny bitch.
