enuf waiting for welcome packs, coupons packs in the mail vote here to get BB to offer them in-store when you sign up so there's no issues.

Link has been added to the OP in the blue section along with the other "fixing BB links" thanx to all for the kudos as this has opened BB's eyes to alot of things that will make the GC bigger, better, cheaper(along with less hassle for all). I'm trying to get them to offer as many deals on the spot as possible that way people won't have so many issues going forward but people have to vote for these.

Sponsered coupons packs would also allow for bigger coupon discounts like over $20 since they're already "paid" for as is & that means the stacks will be even bigger hopefully leading to more $10 games.

Hopefully they can get around to fixing the 10% GCU discount for multiple preowned copies for in-store purchases. I'm surprised it's taking them so long to fix it.

Been 3 weeks since i subscribed, so I figure I'll start with June issue.

Which issues do they double up on? Since there is only 10 a year
I got the coupons snail mailed to me today (digital subscriber).
I thought that you got digital one time use coupons? I don't want digital then

Haven't gotten mine yet guess I'll see monday and if not I'll call or email them. It's weird since I've gotten all the other issues on time

Same here. Been a subscriber since December and have gotten all my issues early except this one.

They shoud fix this> "It's usually 6-8 weeks BEFORE you should start receiving your 1st issue."

Unless I can get the first AND second magazine in store. Otherwise, that's an issue for those who want to partake in the deals.
Hopefully I can get that USB drive for free tomorrow...I could use a free USB stick.
I just saw this too. Kinda hoping the same thing. Couldn't hurt stopping by early tomorrow and checking it out. Guess my plans for tomorrow before work just changed.

How? Isn't it $20 after coupon?
How? Isn't it $20 after coupon?
Last week it was on sale for $20.

This week (today being the first day the coupons are valid) it's back up to $40...so with the coupon it is again $20. While free may have been asking a bit much, it seems rather lame when one of the coupons for the special program is essentially just extending a sale from a previous week that was available for everyone.
This months coupons are weak. Unless we have a super surprise sale this will go down as the weakest coupons ever.
AC:R went on sale way too many times to believe it will stick at 40.

Well it certainly sucks for me + others who missed last month since it had the Kid Icarus cards. However I had absolutely no problem talking 1 BB employee into letting me use the coupon for Homefront on day 1. Later in the month I also bought another item and the guy was like "wow gamer unlocked... very nice!", I was like I guess and complained I missed out on the Homefront deal. Mind you I was talking about the slow send speed over really complaining, but the guy was very quick to just ring me up a free copy of the magazine.

I know that's right. It was $20 at BBY and Target. Then it was $10 if you were able to do the trade 2 promo. All Ubisoft games drop really fast. That's why anyone shouldn't buy them day one. Just a heads up.

It's just marketing. You know when you visit a city's tourist district and they are having a going out of business sale? (they're not really going out of business. )

The program to get the coupons or buy the magazine cost money, so if it was a coupon available to everyone you could say, it's just marketing. Right now, it's just shitty.

Still a great program, but that coupon is sand in the face.

+1... I have yet to see anything even touching the awesomeness of any of the March coupons though.

I just wish I bought/traded in more copies of arkham city to GS

That's an interesting point. I'm glad I waited on Rayman though. Got it for $10 with Target's coupon. Didn't want to gamble with the chance that it might hit $10 30 days after I bought it. I'm extremely cheap, that's why I wait until there's a huge drop. I usually won't get to the game right away.

Keep doing it & you'll have tons of RZ points coming monthly that'll also reduce cost going forward.

Subscribing to the magazine is a no brainer. You easily make back your $14.99 on 10% bonus to trades or off used games or 1 coupon. Anything beyond that is icing.

Yes, but I thought the 60 pm policy was for Prem Silver members, which requires a rather large entry point.

I actually got my magazine in the mail. (Yellow Borderlands 2 Cover)
Although, I'm probably going to call in CS anyways and ask if they can extend my subscription for an additional 2 months since I didn't get a magazine the month I signed up (they ran out of Mar magazines) and I didn't get anything for April.

I actually still haven't gotten my welcome packet so I might make inquiries about that as well.

Got my magazine on Saturday (red cover), stopped by this morning and picked up NCAA 12 for $5 (used $15 RZ certs).

Was hoping to pick up a used copy of NCAA 11, but none in store. Coulda picked it up from their webpage for $20 but I feel extra dirty paying that price used for a year's old game. I hope to find it elsewhere cheaper...
Meh, got the better deal on BF3 for $19.99 new during Monday's sale. Already own AC:R, and the others don't appeal to me.
Same here. I can't complain too much because there have been a lot of good deals the past two months. Too bad I couldn't find resistance 3 last month.
Yes, but I thought the 60 pm policy was for Prem Silver members, which requires a rather large entry point.
Not if you have the RZ mastercard. Every purchase, anywhere counts towards the $2500 a year. Just put gas on it and you'll get that. With twins coming, I have about hit my $2500 for this year already with the help of baby stuff.

I have never paid interest on a credit card( well i think, maybe, a few cents once) and so they end up paying me to use it.

I bought this month issue today from a closing store for 1.49. Used the coupon in there for Wireless Headset and it came out free. So the coupons work at closing stores even if the amount is lower than the amount on the coupon.

except you have to go back to best buy numerous times to have it price adjusted and you still have to drop 60 day 1.
I'd rather wait while I play other games and drop 20 or less out of pocket later down the line.

:applause:Exactly. This is also why I almost never did the Kmart deals. It was MSRP outta pocket to get coupons for a discount on another game or gaming item, which kept you having to buy stuff there perpetually to keep feeling like you were getting a 'deal'. Worst of all, you only had the option to pay with cash there, since their game trade program never got off the ground.:whistle2:#

I'd rather wait while I play other games and drop 20 or less out of pocket later down the line.
But the bottom line deal is this I'll get the same deal as you get by waiting on day 1 + $20 credit & the ability to get another $45-$50 cash on craiglist or $30+ trade in credit. The extra trip is well worth it since it makes that purchase & your next purchase super cheap day 1.

You get a $20-$30 & have to wait for the next one to reach the same price where as I have the $20 pre-order credit along with the $20-$40 cash back from price matching which makes the 2nd game less than the $20 you'll pay on it & I still get another $20 credit & $20-$40 cash back again. If you keep "floating" money/credit this way you'll save on games & amass a huge backlog w/o going broke in the process. But to each their own I just prefer to get the most outta my $ on the front, middle & backend.
:applause:Exactly. This is also why I almost never did the Kmart deals. You'll spend $60 to get a $20 coupon to make the next $60 game $40 so 2 game for $100.

I'll get the same $60 but pm it down to $40 or less & still have the $20 credit, then take the pm money along with the credit & make the 2nd $60 $30 or less day 1 & still be able to get some of the $30 that I spent back in another pm. So the end result could easily be 2 games for $60 instead of 2 for $100. $40 is alot since you can get most new releases for $40 w/i a month of release so that $100 means 3 games where as kmart deals is just 2.
And that doesn't even take into account the RZ points, GC points & RZ silver bonus points which are quite alot for me with the total # of games I get.

Well your Kmart argument makes sense if you are only buying two games, but when Kmart Gamer was really going strong literally every new release I was interested in came with at least $15 in credit (usually more). So I would pay $60 for one game in like September, but then never have to pay full price for a new release through Christmas (plus I'd never have to go back for a price match, which is not even guaranteed to happen). There were some obvious downsides, like having to be in a Kmart and deal with the people that work/shop there.

BB has stepped up its game tremendously these last several months, though, and Kmart Gamer is gone. So price matching and having an unlocked membership seems to be the best choice for a CAG.
