But, I am guessing it does not activate on steam?
I looked at the Amazon product page and I did not see if it was steam or origin.

If you bought a qualifying DL game from Amazon in Dec you got a $5 credit code to use starting Jan.

EA needed a place to sell games before Origin. Now, they are pushing their own service. Which seems to work well, IMO.
